1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS For Model 4391 573 READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE Fig 3 1 Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area Take care not to loose any small parts necessary for installation 2 Center the glass I within the fixture frame and attach metal clamp G using the wrench L and screws K provided 3 Then slide the socket assembly into the glass I turn it 90 from Metal clamps G Then turn the socket assembly back 90 and align the holes of Metal clamps G then secure them by threading cap nuts F until snug 4 Feed wire thru rods E as required to get desired height While holding the center tube E turn counter clockwise four full turns Attach each additional center tube E by turning it clockwise until assembied 5 Feed the wires through the canopy D and complete threading the rods until the assembly is tight MOUNTING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 1 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove old fixture from ceiling including the old crossbar 2 Attach the circular strap A to the outlet box using the two screws B from the outlet box The side of the circular strap A marked GND and with two mounting screws must face out 3 While holding the canopy D toward the ceiling connect the electrical wires as follows See Fig 2 Take the black wire from the outlet box2. and the smooth wire leg from the fixture and twist bare ends together Twist wire connector onto end of wire until snug Repeat same process with white outlet box wire and ribbed wire leg of fixture wire NOTE Twist wires together in the same direction you twist the wire connector onto wires If your outlet has a ground wire green or bare copper connect fixture s ground wire to it Otherwise connect fixture s ground wire directly to the circular strap using the green screw provided 4 After the wires are connected tuck them carefully inside the outlet box as you holding the canopy D to the circular Strap A Adjust the hole of the circular Strap A and the canopy D to align the holes then secure them by threading the two Allen Screws C with wrench L until snug 5 Install the proper light bulbs accordingly to the fixture specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE 6 When replace glass i see Fig 3 release cap nuts F by hand then twist J to remove frame Using wrench L open Meta clamps G The glass can now be replaced Your installation is now complete Return power to the junction box and test the fixture OUTLET BOX CEILING i FIXTURE i FIXTURE 1 WRES i WIRES Hite or 5 Bare e 4 opper pon Ground e Copper Ground Fig 3 Liste Intertek
