1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION FOR 4322 577 SHUT POWER F AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER AVERTISSEMENT COUPER LE COURANT NIVEAU DES FUSIBLES OU DU DISJONCTEU READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE Fig 2 1 Shut off the power atthe circuit breaker and remove the oid fixture including the mounting hardware 2 Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration 3 Thread the center column assembly K onto the coupling L 4 Secure the part II of the decorative arms N to the coupling Q with the screws P and then adjust the column M to the correct height then secure the part I of the decorative arms_ N to the column M with the screws 0 d AT eS 5 Attach the diffuser T onto the base S with the washer V and the screws U 6 Thread the nut X onto the nipple Y then thread the nipple Y into the coupling W and tighten with the nut X 7 Install the light bulb s in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE 8 Slide the glass Z plastic washer A1 and iron washer B1 over the nipple Y and secure with the nut C1 9 Slide the cap D1 over the nipple Y and secure with the i finial E1 HANGING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 10 Thread the nipple E into the ceiling loop H until snug 41 Thr
2. ead the hex nut D onto the nipple E Place the lock washer C over end of the nipple E 12 Thread other end of the nipple E with loop H into crossbar A until snug 13 Take this crossbar A assembly and mount to ceiling Seti A 016 Crossbar Ground screw Mounting screw 2 junction box with the mounting screws B Size 8 k kB 32 0 6 L The side of the mounting plate marked GND p must face out F 14 Using proper chain pliers open one link of chain I and connect it to the fixture loop J 15 By measuring determine connect number of links needed for desired hanging height 16 Lace the fixture wires through the chain links Slip screw collar ring G and canopy F over the chain 17 Open one link of the other end of the chain I and connect it to the ceiling loop H 18 Feed the fixture wires through the ceiling loop H and nipple E and pull until taut chain HCH2072 577 3 8mm CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 3 Fig 3 i 19 At this point connect the electrical wires as shown in ee Se ae ja ei Fig 3 making sure that all wire connectors are Sreath ae 1 WES secured If your outlet box has a ground wire green 1 Copper or bare copper connect fixture s ground wire to it een Otherwise connect the fixture s ground wire directly ime ais i nai to the mounting plate using the green screw tox Mie pa cn Wa
3. tt scene provided After the wires are connected tuck them carefully inside the junction box 20 Raise the canopy F all the way to the ceiling Raise the screw collar ring G and thread onto ceiling loop H protruding through canopy F Fig 1 associatior Your installation is now complete Return the power to the junction box and test the fixture Notice It is important to use proper chain pliers not included To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this fixture Do nat SOs a a open them with other tools that may twist ar stress the chain links Itis important to use proper chain pliers like the ones shown in the diagram
