1. WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER AVERTISSEMENT COUPER LE COURANT AU NIVEAU DES FUSIBLES OU DUDISJONCTEUR READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE Fig 2 1 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old Fig 2 fixture including the mounting hardware 2 Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration 3 Spread the arms R so that the arms R are at equal distance from each other 4 Thread the center column assembly K onto the nipple L 5 Secure the part Il of the decorative arms N to the coupling Q with the screws P adjust the column M to __ ___ the_correct height and then secure the part I of the a decorative arms N to the column M with the screws O HANGING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 6 Thread the nipple E into the ceiling loop H until snug 7 Thread the hex nut D onto the nipple E Place the lock washer C over end of the nipple E 8 Thread other end of the nipple E with the loop into the crossbar A unti snug 9 Take this crossbar A assembly and mount to ceiling junction box with the mounting screws B Size 8 32 0 6 L The side of the mounting plate marked GND must face out 10 Using proper chain pliers open one link of chain I and connect it to the fixture loop J 11 By measuring determi2. ne connect number of links needed Fig 1 for desired hanging height 12 Lace the fixture wires through the chain links Slip screw collar ring G and canopy F over the chain 13 Open one link of the other end of the chain I and connect it to the ceiling loop H 14 Feed the fixture wires through the ceiling loop H and nipple E and pull until taut CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 3 15 At this point connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig 3 making sure that ail wire connectors are secured Jf your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare copper connect fixture s ground wire to it Otherwise connect the fixture s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw __ chains HCH2072 577 Set A 016 Crossbar Ground screw Mounting screw 2 3 8mm provided After the wires are connected tuck them carefully inside the junction box COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION Fig 2 16 Raise the canopy F all the way to the ceiling 17 Raise the screw collar ring G and thread onto ceiling loop H protruding through canopy F Fig 1 18 Place the glass shade T and cup U over the socket S and secure with the retaining ring V by wrench W 19 Install the light bulb s in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE i Green or Ren Bora Coppai Ground Your in
