1. F4680L Lady at the Spring Please read the assembly and pump operating instructions carefully and observe the safety instructions before after STAGE 2 Connect the tubing to the outlet of the pump Connect the two ends of the L E D lighting wire together and screw over the plastic collar STAGE 1 Assemble the components as per the following diagrams on a smooth surface to avoid scratching connects to the light string t STAGE 5 Push the cable with 2 pins into the transformer and screw over the plastic collar Connect the plug from the transformer to your mains outlet STAGE 4 The access door can now be slid into place covering the opening at the back of the fountain The transformer should never be submerged or stood in water easy fountain STAGE 3 Place the pump in the water resovoir through the opening in the back of the fountain Push through the lighting wire placing the L E D light in the front water bowl Fill the water resovoir with sufficient water to fully submerge the pump Clock wise Full Flow Anti clock wise reduced Flow PUMP FLOW The pump flow can be adjusted with the regulator this is found on the inlet of the pump We recommend starting with the flow regulator fully open and then adjusting down if required Please note the transformer will get hot while in use this is normal If outdoors the outlet must be waterproof We recommend the use of a resi2. dual current device GFI Ground Fault Interrupter available from all good D I Y stores when connecting the fountain to the electric supply www kelkay com F4680L Lady at the Spring easy fountain pei ah CARE NOTICE Fill the fountain with sufficient water to ensure the pump is well submersed Always shut off the power before cleaning and maintaining the pump Clean and top up the water on a regular basis We recommend using an Algae Stopper to keep the water clean and clear To clean the fountain use a Grime and Lime Cleaner Should you have a build up of algae we recommend an Algae Killer Powder to remedy the removal of Algae however you should continue to keep your fountain clean with an Algae Stopper and Grime and Lime Cleaner Never allow the fountain pump to run dry as this will cause damage and invalidate the warranty It is not recommended to leave the fountain running constantly We suggest turning the fountain on off when required ee CARE When fountain is used outdoors During winter never allow ice to form in the bowls as the force of the ice forming will crack the bowls Drain and clean all bowls etc and apply a Fountain Protection Cover or for total protection and prolong the life of the paint finish drain the fountain and store indoors The pump should be disconnected from the mains supply removed from the fountain and cleaned in the following way a remove the inlet cover from the front of the pump a
3. nd gently grip the impeller to pull out the rotor assembly from the pump b clean the rotor and rotor housing with water then dry with kitchen paper c reassemble the parts and store the pump in dry area TROUBLESHOOTING lf the water pump fails to operate check the following 1 lf the pump cannot pump water check if the power is correctly connected or check if sufficient water is inside the reservoir a Check the pump and tubing for any form of obstructions b Remove the cover with the pump flow adjuster to reveal the pump impeller and gently turn the rotor to check that it is not broken or jammed If the pump runs with slow water circulation check the following a The flow control on the body of the pump b Ensure the pump is completely submersed lf any abnormal sound is heard during the pump operation turn off the power supply and check the rotor assembly as follows a Remove the pump cover and rotor plate from the front b Grip the impeller and gently take out the rotor assembly from the pump c Pie the motor assembly and the housing with clean water in order to remove any grit or ebris d If any breakage or surface damage is found on the rotor assembly please contact your supplier if a replacement needed We hope you continue to enjoy your water feature for many years Over time the paint finish will gradually mellow in color this is part of the natural weathering process www kelkay com
