1. HOM E QUIP Assembly Instructions STEEL SHELVING IMPORTANT The following installation instructions MUST be followed All Braces Nuts Bolts and Special Fasteners MUST be used as shown ONLY the Nuts and Bolts supplied with the unit should be used for assembly All bolting MUST be checked for tightness following complete assembly Any alteration or deviation rom the instructions or overloading of shelves can result in the unit failure CAUTION DO NOT use this unit as a ladder If the unit is to be olther loaded in a top heavy manner or positioned on an uneven floor it should be secured to a suitable supporting structure Skip this step for mode 3630 and 9636 Assemble 4 post sets us ing 2 sections of split por i and 2 10 24x1 2 nuts and bolts for each post set Align bolt holes by press fiting the 2 post sections as shown bova for exclusive lock fit at post edges Bolt together at the frst hole Fully tighten the 8 nuts and bolts amp PARTS LIST amp MODEL NO s HC30127 6 7212 1121872 KM30127 3630 3636 1630H SB560 KM3016 Ea Comer Gusset 57 olo Hardware 10 26x1 2 Spit Posts gt Backside Braces INVENTORY 27 KM3016 2 ve rae 950 Seso e 7 5 Po eor 37 837 eat Comer Gussots Haraware osa Do not tully tighten the nuts for the next 4 steps until step 5 is com piotod NOTE All shelves have a center hole on one long edge2. With the exception of model 121872 This is the back of each shelf Assemble tha unit with these holes all facing the same way NOTES Bonom shelf should be positioned no more than 3 from the floor Determine distance desired between bottom shelf and floor then bolt corner of shelf to post through holes provided Assembly is jasiest when the posts are flat on the floor or a table STE KE Connect Post and Top Shelf Post 4 NOTE It may be necessary to press the post to line up with the holes in a shel Insert botn bolts betore finger tightening either nut Installing the boit in the long edge of the sheit first and then the short edge is recommended Fasten the top shelf to the first hole in post 1 Continue assembling posts to tho top and bottom shelves in the order shown above NOTE make certain that all shelves have the center hole facing the same way Position and fasten intarmediato sholves by counting an equal number of holes on each post before bolting the shelt in place L Complete Assembly Stand unit upright on a fat level surface While holding the unit in postion tighten the nuts holding the braces Install 4 comer gussets as shown in Stop 5 Adjust for squareness as necessary Tighten all nuts amp bolts at this time NOTE Braces should bo placed inside of posts When all sheivos have been mounted bolt the back braces in position Start by loosely boting 2 or 4 bra
