11. ectrical outlet for the wine refrigerator is behind the cabinet plug in the wine refrigerator 3 Push the wine refrigerator into position WARNING Do NOT install the wine refrigerator behind a closed cabinet door Installation Clearance Requirements When installing the wine refrigerator under a counter follow the recommended spacing dimensions shown e To ensure proper service access and ventilation allow between 2 3 inches of clearance at the back as shown in the below diagram lt gt 2 3 inches e The installation should allow the unit to be pulled forward for servicing if necessary e The wine refrigerator should be installed on a firm and level surface that will be able to support the entire weight of a fully loaded unit It is important for the wine refrigerator to be level in order to work properly If needed you can adjust the height of the wine refrigerator by rotating the feet See the Leveling the Wine refrigerator section e A standard electrical supply 115 VAC only 60 Hz properly grounded in accordance with National Electri cal Code and local codes and ordinances is required Electrical Requirements ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD e Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet e Never remove the grounding prong from the plug e Never use an adapter to bypass the grounding prong e DO NOT use an extension cord e Failure to follow these instructions can result in fire electrical shock or personal injury Befo
12. heck the machine 1 Place a carpenter s level on top of the product to see if the wine refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side 2 Adjust the height of the feet as follows Turn the leveling feet to the right to lower that side of the refrigerator Turn the leveling feet to the left to raise that side of the refrigerator IMPORTANT Once you are ready to install it in a cabinet or directly on the floor you must adjust the feet to level the wine refrigerator Installing your Door Handle and Shelves INSTALLING THE DOOR HANDLE 1 Open the door and carefully pull the door gasket around the area where the handle is to be installed 2 Carefully remove the two pre installed decorative plugs from the front of the door Note some wine coolers do not have decorative plugs installed 3 Insert each Phillips head screw through the gasket side of the door until the screw pass through the door 4 Align the handle with the screws and tighten using a Phillips head screwdriver until the handle is flush against the door frame CAUTION Do not over tighten the screws as this may cause damage to the handle or to the stainless steel door 5 Carefully press the door gasket into its original position Tip To prevent damaging the door gasket make sure to open the door all the way before pulling the shelves out of their track INSTALLING THE SHELVES To install the shelves 1 Open the door completely 2 Slide the shelf o

14. n the shelf track and slowly push back until it stops 3 Push down on the front of the shelf to allow the back of the shelf to lift over the plastic post Imagine a seesaw movement Continue to push the shelf back until both notches pass through the plastic posts on each side of the shelf track 4 Continue to push the shelf back To remove the shelves 1 Open the door completely 2 If necessary make sure you remove all the contents sitting on the shelf 3 Pull the shelf forward until the notch aligns with the plastic post on each side of the shelf track 4 Lift the shelf until both notches pass through the posts 5 Continue to pull the shelf forward until it is completely removed from the inner compartment Operation INSTALLATION CHECK LIST BEFORE OPERATION 1 Have all packing materials and tape been removed from the interior and exterior of the wine refrigerator 2 Have the installation instructions been followed including connecting the machine to electricity And has proper grounding been installed for the wine refrigerator 3 Has the machine been leveled 4 Is the wine refrigerator in a site where the ambient temperature is between 502 F and 952 F all year round 5 Is there a clearance of at least 2 to 3 at the rear for proper air circulation USING YOUR CONTROL PANEL This wine cooler has a temperature range from 40 F to 65 F SELECTOR BUTTONS POWER BUTTON Press and hold down for three seconds t
15. o power your unit on once pressed the Run in dicator light will illuminate to indicate the unit is on and running Press and hold for three seconds again and the unit will power off and the Run Indicator light will turn off amp INCREASE TEMPERATURE Press to increase the temperature by 1 degree increments DECREASE TEMPERATURE Press to decrease the temperature by 1 degree increments Q INTERIOR LIGHT Press this button to turn on the interior LED light Press again to turn the light off INDICATOR LIGHTS DISPLAYS Temperature Display Shows the set temperature and current temperature in the upper zone When lit the unit is in cooling mode e Note Allow at least 24 hours for your wine cooler to run before storing your wines and to allow the temperature to acclimate Whether your wine cooler can reach the actual set temperature depends on the ambient environmental conditions Tip If you powered off the unit please wait at least 5 minutes before powering it back on This unit can be displayed in Fanrenheit or Celsisus To change between press and hold the Increase and Decrease Temperature buttons at the same time for five seconds A sound will then beep and the indicator light will illiuminate next to desired temperature setting Normal Sounds Your new wine refrigerator may make sounds that are not familiar to you Most of the new sounds are normal Hard surfaces like the floor walls can make the sounds seem lo
16. re you move your wine refrigerator into its final location it is important to make sure you have the proper elec trical connection A standard electrical supply 115 V 60Hz properly grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances is required It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only your wine refrigerator be provided Use receptacles that can not be turned off by a switch or pull chain The fuse or circuit breaker size should be 3 Amps Recommended grounding method For your personal safety this appliance must be grounded It is equipped with a power supply cord having a 3 prong grounding plug To minimize possible shock hazard the cord must be plugged into a mating 3 pronged wall socket and grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances If a mating wall socket is not available it is the personal responsibility of the customer to have a properly grounded 3 prong wall receptacle installed by a qualified electrician Leveling Your Wine Refrigerator It is important for the wine refrigerator to be leveled in order to work properly It can be raised or lowered by rotating the plastic sheaths around each of the feet on the bottom of the machine If you find that the surface is not level rotate the feet until the wine refrigerator becomes level You may need to make several adjustments to level it We recommend using a carpenter s level to c

18. uder than they actually are The following describes the kinds of sounds that might be new to you and what may be making them e Rattling noises may come from the flow of the refrigerant or the water line Items stored on top of the wine refrig erator can also make noises e The high efficiency compressor may make a pulsating or high pitched sound e Water running from the evaporator to the water bin may make a splashing sound e As each cycle ends you may hear a gurgling sound due to the refrigerant flowing in your wine refrigerator e You may hear air being forced over the condenser by the condenser fan Defrosting Note that under most refrigerating settings the unit will automatically defrost under most ambient conditions How ever on colder settings some frost may build up Additionally the more humid the ambient conditions the more frost may build up Keep the door closed as much as possible and avoid opening the door unnecessarily to minimize frost build up If frost is preventing the door from closing properly you may need to power the unit off until the frost melts Use a soft absorbent towel to dry the unit WARNING Never attempt to remove frost with a sharp object Preparing your Wine Refrigerator for Storage If the wine refrigerator will not be used for a long time or is to be moved to another place it will be necessary to defrost the unit and dry the interior 1 Disconnect the cooler from the power supply b
