3. the unit may be affected e Plug the wine cooler into an exclusive properly installed grounded wall outlet OPERATING YOUR WINE COOLER CONTROLS Power To turn the appliance ON or OFF touch the and f at the same time for 5 seconds Set Set or view the internal temperature setting for each zone Light Y Turn the inner light ON or OFF Up A Raise the set temperature by 1 C or 1 F Down V Lower the set temperature by 1 C or 1 F F C Selector Choose to display temperature setting in Fahrenheit or Celsius To change the temperature display from Fahrenheit to Celsius or from Celsius to Fahrenheit touch and hold Y for 5 seconds Key Lock a After 2 minutes of inactivity the controls will be locked automatically To release the lock touch the A and V at the same time for 5 seconds TEMPERATURE ZONES The wine cooler has two temperature zones with a temperature range of 40 72 F The recommended temperature setting for each zone is Lower Zone between 55 72 F Ideal for red and white wines e Upper Zone 8 between 40 55 F Ideal for sparkling and white wines When looking at the temperature zone indicators on your cooler s control panel please make sure to match the white squares in the manual to the white squares on the cooler For example the display screen that depicts the white square below the black one corresponds to the lower temperature z
4. you must pull the shelf approximately out of the rail compartment This unit was designed with metal stop posts on each side of the shelf track to prevent bottles from falling e When removing a shelf from the rail compartment make sure to remove all items first Then move the shelf to the position such that one of the metal stop post is in the center of the hole and pull up Repeat this step with each of the metal stop posts until the shelf can be removed from the sliding track DISPLAY RACK 5 wine bottles can be arranged on the display rack for wine presentation To install the display rack e Remove the shelf directly above the shelf you want to put the display rack on Note Display rack cannot be put on the top shelf or the shelf directly below control panel e Pull out the shelf where the display rack will be placed Place the display rack on it e Align metal hooks of display rack with the wine shelf Make sure the display rack is securely on the shelf DOOR LOCK The wine cooler comes with a lock and key combination The keys are located inside the plastic bag containing the Owner s Manual To unlock the door insert the key into the lock and turn it counter clockwise To lock the door insert the key and turn it clockwise ensuring that the metal pin is fully engaged DEFROSTING The wine cooler defrosts automatically The evaporator behind the rear wall of the unit automatically

7. defrosts and the condensate collects in the drainage channel behind the rear wall of the unit and flows through the drainage hole into the drip tray by the compressor where it evaporates CARE AND MAINTENANCE CLEANING YOUR WINE COOLER IMPORTANT Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing maintenance Never use harsh cleansers or scouring pads to clean any part of the unit e Turn offthe power unplug the appliance and remove all items including shelves e Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water e Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution e Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth before cleaning control panels or any electrical parts e Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth POWER FAILURE Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your appliance If the power is off for an extended period of time proper steps should be taken to protect your contents INACTIVITY If the unit will not be used for a period of less than three weeks leave the cooler operating If the period of inactivity is several months remove all items and turn the unit off Clean and dry the interior thoroughly Leave the door open slightly to prevent any possible moisture build up MOVING YOUR WINE COOLER

11. his unit is designed for freestanding or built in installation but indoor use only Position the unit in a dry and well ventilated place Avoid placing the wine cooler near any source of heat or moisture or in direct sunlight Do NOT install the unit in a location with an ambient temperature that will fall below 60 F e For built in installation leave a Y 6 35mm space on each side and at the top of the wine cooler to ensure proper air circulation to cool the compressor and condenser Also be sure to not obstruct the front exhaust vent with any objects as this may affect the unit from performing properly e For freestanding installation 6 of space at the back 10 12 of space on each side and unlimited clearance at the top of the wine cooler are suggested to ensure proper air circulation to cool the compressor and condenser Do not place underneath a table counter top or anything of the sort as this will not allow for proper air circulation e For best performance do not install the unit behind a cabinet door or block the base grille e Place the wine cooler on a level surface strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded To level the wine cooler adjust the front leveling legs at the bottom of the wine cooler e For best performance it is recommended that you install the appliance in a location with an ambient temperature between 72 78 F If the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures the performance of

14. one NOTE The temperature set for the Lower Zone must always be the same or higher than the temperature set for the Upper Zone For optimal performance the set temperature of the two zones should differ by at least 4 F It is also normal for the temperature of the air inside the unit fluctuate by plus minus 7 F If it fluctuates any more than 7 F please contact customer service SETTING A TEMPERATURE e Touch SET to set the internal temperature for each zone The degrees indicators will appear in the display window marked 8 for UPPER ZONE and for LOWER ZONE e When you touch SET l for the first time the LED readouts will show the original temperature settings preset factory setting for UPPER ZONE is 10 C 50 F and for LOWER ZONE is 16 C 60 F Touch SET once The left LED indicator for UPPER ZONE will flash Then touch UP A or DOWN to set the desired temperature e When you touch SET f again the right LED indicator for LOWER ZONE will flash Then proceed to touch the UP A or DOWN Y to set the desired temperature for the LOWER ZONE e The temperature will increase by 1 C or 1 F if you touch UP A once or the temperature will decrease by 1 C or 1 F if you touch DOWN V once e To view the set temperature in either zone at any time touch UP A or DOWN V and the set temperature will temporarily flash in the LED display for 5 seconds You can touch SET to view the temperature setting from one zone to the second z
