1. NOTE Before performing any type of installation disconnect the upright freezer from the electrical source When you are finished connect the upright freezer to the electrical source and reset the control to the desired setting LEVELING If the upright freezer is not leveled the doors may not close or seal properly which may lead to cooling frost or moisture problems It is very important the upright freezer is leveled in order to function properly To level your upright freezer turn the level leg clockwise to raise or counter clockwise to lower NOTE Having someone push against the top of the upright freezer and tilt backwards will take some weight off and makes it easier to adjust the leveling leg USE OF THE APPLIANCE To obtain the best possible results form your upright freezer it is important that you operate it properly Temperature Control The temperature inside the unit can be adjusted with the thermostat knob located in the compressor compartment Turn the thermostat control knob up or down to regulate the temperature inside the freezer Knob settings range from 1 to 6 with 1 being the warmest and 6 being the coldest setting For normal use it is recommended to set the unit between 2 to 5 Storing Frozen Food When using the freezer for the first time or after defrosting turn the temperature control to set 6 for at least two hours before introducing food to be stored All frozen food products you purchase2. mild detergent in warm water Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners Hand wash rinse and dry all surfaces thoroughly Do not use cleaning waxes concentrated detergents bleaches or cleaners containing petroleum on plastics and rubber parts Never use paper towels window sprays scouring cleansers or flammable fluids on plastic parts as these can scratch or damage material Reversing The Door Position Caution To avoid injury to yourself and property we recommend someone assist you during the door reversal process e Ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty e Adjust the two leveling feet to their highest position Tools required e Phillips screwdriver e Flathead screwdriver NOTE To take the door off it is necessary to tilt the appliance backwards Rest the appliance on something solid just below the top panel so you can access the bottom of the refrigerator DO NOT lay the appliance completely flat as this may damage the coolant system 1 Remove the bracket from the bottom of the unit Remove the two screws from the bottom bracket Remove the foot from opposite side 2 Self Tapping Screws Bottom Bracket Foot place to one side 3 Slide the door downwards away from the hinge pin located on the top of the door 4 Remove the plastic cover from door hinge Unscrew the two screws from top bracket and transfer to the other side 5 Install the top bracket with the two screws Slide the door

SPT Instruction Manual 3 0 CU FT Upright Freezer UF 304SS STAINLESS STEEL UF 304W WHITE Dear customer Thank you for buying this upright freezer To ensure that you get the best results from your new freezer please take time to read through the simple instructions in this booklet Please ensure that the packing material is disposed of in accordance with the current environmental requirements When disposing of any upright freezer equipment please contact your local waste disposal department for advice on safe disposal This appliance must be only used for its intended purpose Main configuration UNPACKING YOUR UPRIGHT FREEZER WARNING Use two or more people to move upright freezer Failure to do so can result in back or other injury e Remove tape and any labels from your upright freezer before using except the rating label e Any tape or glue residue can be removed by rubbing the area briskly with your thumb Or rub the area with a small amount of liquid dish sop wipe with warm water and dry e Do not use sharp instruments rubbing alcohol flammable fluids or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue These products can damage the surface of your upright freezer e When moving the upright freezer do not tilt the upright freezer beyond 45 from upright position e Before initial use please use scissor to cut and remove the plastic cable ties at the center of each shelf as shown in pictu

6. back onto the top hinge Be sure door is the right way up Install the plastic cover on the top bracket by pressing down until it clicks into position 6 Screw the bottom hinge into place on the new side Replace the foot to the other side 7 Check the door is aligned horizontally and vertically and the seals are closed on all sides before finally tightening the bottom hinge Re adjust the leveling feet PROLONGED OFF PERIODS If the freezer is not to be used for a long period of time proceed as follows Disconnect the freezer from the main supply by removing the plug from the wall socket Clean and dry the inside as instructed under the CLEANING section Leave the door open to prevent any unpleasant smells from building up while the freezer is not in use 10 TROUBLESHOOTING In case of malfunction you can solve many common problems easily Your upright freezer will not operate Check if The power supply cord is unplugged The doors will not close completely Check if The drawers are out of position The gaskets are dirty The freezer is not level The freezer is noisy when running Check if Check the freezer is level and it is not in contact with another appliance or kitchen furniture The freezer does not cool sufficiently Check if The door has been opened too frequently or it has been left open for a while It will take time for
