1. NOTE Before performing any type of installation disconnect the upright freezer from the electrical source When you are finished connect the upright freezer to the electrical source and reset the control to the desired setting LEVELING If the upright freezer is not leveled the doors may not close or seal properly which may lead to cooling frost or moisture problems It is very important the upright freezer is leveled in order to function properly To level your upright freezer turn the level leg clockwise to raise or counter clockwise to lower NOTE Having someone push against the top of the upright freezer and tilt backwards will take some weight off and makes it easier to adjust the leveling leg USE OF THE APPLIANCE To obtain the best possible results form your upright freezer it is important that you operate it properly Temperature Control The temperature inside the unit can be adjusted with the thermostat knob located in the compressor compartment Turn the thermostat control knob up or down to regulate the temperature inside the freezer Knob settings range from 1 to 6 with 1 being the warmest and 6 being the coldest setting For normal use it is recommended to set the unit between 2 to 5 Storing Frozen Food When using the freezer for the first time or after defrosting turn the temperature control to set 6 for at least two hours before introducing food to be stored All frozen food products you purchase
