3. start find out how to protect yourself and your family by contacting the National Lead Information Hotline at 1 800 424 LEAD or log on to www epa gov lead TECHNICAL DATA AAC 07 AMERICAN ACCENTS TERRA COTTA SPRAY PRODUCT APPLICATION PRIMING Use of Rust Oleum American Accents 7980 Aerosol Primer promotes adhesion and enhances hiding and is especially recommended for bare wood and metal Apply an undercoat of primer on darker surfaces to maximize the finish coat color APPLICATION Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle If mixing ball fails to rattle DO NOT STRIKE CAN Contact Rust Oleum Shake often during use Hold can upright 10 16 from surface and spray in a steady back and forth motion slightly overlapping each stroke Keep the can the same distance from the surface Keep the can in motion while spraying Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runs Do not use near open flame DRY amp RECOAT Dry and recoat times are based on 70 F and 50 relative humidity Allow more time at cooler temperatures Dries to touch in 15 minutes dries to handle in 1 2 hours and is fully dry in 24 hours Recoat within 1 hour or after 24 hours CLEAN UP When finished spraying clear spray by turning can upside down and depressing spray button for 3 5 seconds some paint will be sprayed out so be careful to not inadvertently spray yourself or other objects Cle
