1. 10 How to install your Oval Round Window Frame opening te rough opening dimensions of unit Add corner braces so that the unit can be secure on all sides See fig A Working from the outside place unit into center of rough opening Before nailing unit in wall apply a bead of caulk behind the mounting flange fin see fig E Nail into top of window nailing fin to temporarily hold unit into rough opening Center unit in opening and shim if necessary before proceeding Secure unit with nails or screws in every hole of nailing fin see fig C Before Installing or replacing exterior siding apply a bead of caulk around the nailing flange see fig D nate it is very important to apply a quality sealant to window unit We recommend you use Vulkerm Sealant to seal your windows to the rough opening as well as to seal your choice of siding brick etc to the frame on the outside Vulkem Sealant 116 one part moisture curing gun grade polyurethane sealant It is durable flexible and offers excellent performance in moving joints Vulkem 116 does not require a primer on most construction materials Cut siding to butt against main frame of unit Apply a bead of sealant around perimeter where it meets the siding brick or exterior material to finish off the window see fig E After your drywall or interior surface is painted you can slip in the telescopic Interior trim frame unit and use any type of adhesive like Liquid N2. ails to fasten the trim to the wall see fig F
