1. To open the frame push down and pull back on the frame lock connecting the rear leg to the handle Then standing behind the stroller lift the two handle tubes straight up ntil the frame opens and locks into place Fig 2 Check by pressing down on the handle A WARNING Be sure children are at a safe distance and cannot reach moving parts when ever opening cord closing the stroller The handle and rear axle are separate from the frame You will need to first open the frame before attaching those pieces to the frame Place the frame on the floor so that the front wheel fork is facing up Fig 1 ERNATIONAL MODEL NUMBER SL398D SECURING THE HANDLE TO THE FRAME The plastic handle housings into which the handle bar willbe secured need to be rotated evenly to face straight out from the main stroller tubes To do this press in the adjuster buttons while rotating each housing into position Then line up the handle bar with the open housings Fig 3 Press in on the spring lock buttons located on the inner sides of the handle bar Insert the handle bar into the plastic housing Make sure that the spring lock buttons have popped out of the small holes located on inner side of the plastic handle molding Fig 4 A WARNING Do not use the stroller if the handle cannot be properly secured to the frame Contact the appropriate service center listed after maintenance instructions for assistance

Follow the same instructions as attaching the armrest to attach the tray Fig 17 A WARNING To avoid serious injury ensure that children s hands arms and fee are well clear of the bumper bar before opening or closing it ADJUSTING THE SEATBACK To lower the backrest lift up on the plastic lever located in the middle of the seatback and move the seatback down into the desired position Then release the lever to secure the seatback Fig 18 To raise the backrest push up on the back of the seat until it clicks into the desired position A WARNING Always keep your child in sight when making these kinds of adjustments Check the fitting of the safety harness each time the backrest is adjusted to be sure a snug yet comfortable fitting is maintained

Clean and lubricate all moving parts on the stroller frame and wheels as needed Use only a penetrating silicon based lubricant e Regularly check for loose screws broken parts etc Use only Zooper approved replacement parts available through the service centers listed below Wipe off any sand salt or other corrosive residue after each use where the stroller may be exposed to those elements ERNATIONAL MODEL NUMBER SL398D USING THE FRONT SWIVEL LOCKING WHEEL The front wheel is designed to turn for extra maneuverability on smooth surfaces as well as to be locked in a fixed position for uneven terrain hills fast walking or whenever traveling over height related terrain changes such as curbs The swivel lock is located standing behind the stroller on the left side of the frame on the inward side of the plastic handle housing Fig 25 To set the front wheel in swivel mode pull downward toward you if standing behind the stroller on the plastic switch To lock the front wheel in a fixed position press upward away from you if standing behind the stroller on the plastic switch A WARNING Always secure the front wheel in the locked fixed position for uneven terrain hills or while walking at a faster than normal pace The front wheel must also be secured in the fixed position whenever strolling onto or off of curbs or other height related terrain changes The swivel mode is only designed fo

To adjust the height of the handle press in both adjuster buttons while moving the handle bar up or down into the desired position Fig 5 SECURING THE REAR AXLE TO THE FRAME Standing behind the stroller line up the rear axle with the lower frame tubes The brake levers must be facing out away from the stroller Locate the spring lock buttons on the inner side of the rear axle tubes Fig 6 Make sure the buttons are coming out of the buttonholes and are not stuck inside the tube Press in on the buttons as you insert the rear axle into the frame openings Apply pressure firmly and evenly on the rear axle Make sure the buttons are visible in the small holes located on the inside of the plastic moldings Fig 7 The spring lock buttons will not pop all the way out of the plastic moldings They will however be visible by looking in the molding hole If the spring lock buttons do not pop out of the holes the first time apply more pressure on the axle to ease it into place Pull down on the rear axle to make sure that it has locked into plac A WARNING Do notuse the stroller if the buttons do not properly pop out and lock the axle in place Contact the appropriate service center listed after maintenance instructions for assistance ERNATIONAL MODEL NUMBER SL398D ATTACHING THE REAR WHEELS To install the rear wheels pull out on the wheel retention wire located on the plastic wh
6. first pull out on red handle on the locking clamp Fig 14 Then tilt the back of the seat upwards This will release the locking clamp from the suspension bar Finally lift the seat back off toward you so that the plastic hooks disengage from the other suspension bar Turn the seat around and then secure to the stroller frame as above just reversing to which suspension bar the plastic hooks and the locking clamp are attached A WARNING Never remove or reverse the seat with your child sitting in it This adjustment must be made before putting your child in the stroller Also remove canopy before making seat adjustments for better access and view ERNATIONAL MODEL NUMBER SL398D ATTACHING THE ARMREST TO THE STROLLER SEAT To attach the armrest to the stroller seat line up the two metal inserts with the two plastic slots on both sides of the stroller seat Fig 15 Slide the inserts completely into these slots making sure that both sides secure into a locked position Lift up on both sides of the armrest to make sure they are properly locked into the slots To remove the armrest locate the metal tabs on the inside of the seat positioned just below each armrest slot Fig 16 and beneath the seat fabric Press each tab separately while pulling up on the armrest above each tab The tabs can be pressed by pushing on the fabric that covers them You do not have to pull the fabric away and press the metal surface itself
7. allow Then zip up each side of the netting so that it connects completely with the footrest fabric Finally pullthe netting under the front armrest toward baby and then back over the top of the armrest away from baby Fig 19 Be sure to pull the netting all the way around and down on the armrest so that it covers the metal insert clips of the armrest A WARNING Your child may slip into leg openings and strangle Never use the stroller with the backrest fully reclined unless this baby safety netting is looped around the armrest and secured in place Only when the boot portion of the seat pad is fully zipped onto the seat pad may the stroller be fully reclined without using the safety netting The canopy must also be snapped onto the seat fabric ATTACHING THE REVERSIBLE CANOPY To attach the canopy insert the plastic shafts into the plastic slots located on the sides of the seat Fig 20 Lift up to check that each side is locked into position Whenever the seatback is in the fully reclined position be sure that the canopy snaps are buttoned onto the back and sides of the seat fabric The canopy can be converted to allow more air flow through the stroller Unzip the lower half of the canopy from the upper half This will leave a mesh cover that can snap to the back of the seat Fig 21 To remove orreverse the canopy first undo the snaps Then press the release tabs located on the plastic slots while pulling up on the c
8. an be secured as described below then it is still compatible with the stroller The restraint safety strap attaches to the two metal D shaped rings on either side of the seat belt Place the restraint safety strap through the provided spaces on each side of the car seat auto seatbelt path or over the top of the carrier if your model does not have that opening Now adjust the strap to tightly secure the carrier to the stroller The tighter that you set this strap will directly affect how secure the car seat feels in the stroller A well tigntened strap will be easily demonstrated by lifting the entire stroller and car seat as one solid unit by the handle of the car seat A WARNING the restraint safety strap must always be tightly secured whenever an infant carrier is placed on the stroller Do not use an infant carrier model with this stroller if it does not secure as described above Infant carriers rated for weights over 20 Ibs 9kg are not compatible with any Zooper stroller model Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist A WARNING only the following infant car seat models are compatible with this stroller Graco Snugride Peg Perego Viaggio Britax Companion WAR IMPORTANT CARE AND SAFETY INFORMATION Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out always use safety harness provided Always engage the rear brakes when not holding onto your stroller Never leave your child un
9. anopy shafts A WARNING whenever the seatback is in the fully reclined position make sure that the canopy snaps or mesh snaps are buttoned onto the back and sides of the seat fabric Do not overload the canopy pocket Maximum load is 2 Ibs 1 kg Excessive weight may create a hazardous unstable condition to exist More than you think _ User Guide z deco sL398D ERNATIONAL MODEL NUMBER SL398D IMPORTANT READ THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR STROLLER AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD DEPENDS ON IT Thank you for choosing Zooper A WARNING Plastic axle caps are fitted to the ends of the axles Their function is to offer extra protection during shipment Be sure to locate these caps if still attached after you unpack the stroller and see that they are properly disposed of along with all plastic bags recyclable cardboard etc Never leave small pieces around for your child to find ASSEMBLING STROLLER We recommend you choose an appropriate space for assembly The stroller has strong metal axles that could scratch hardwood floors or other sensitive surfaces The stroller seat handle rear axle wheels canopy and front armrest are ready to be attached to the frame Instructions for attaching these items are described below UNLOCKING amp OPENING THE FRAME
10. attended Never use the stroller near an open fire or exposed flame Never allow the stroller to be used as a toy Never allow more than one child at a time in the stroller Never hang bags or other items from the handle or on the canopy This may cause the stroller to become unstable Never use the stroller on stairs or escalators e Do not overload the basket Maximum load is 7 lbs Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist e Do not overload the canopy pocket Maximum load is 2 Ibs Excessive weight may create a hazardous unstable condition to exist This stroller is not recommended for use with a child over 75 Ibs Before each use check to make sure the stroller is set up properly and that all the wheels are properly and securely attached This stroller is designed as a walking stroller We do not recommend running roller blading or other such activities with the Zooper stroller This stroller is a single stroller Do not use any attachments that allow for a second child t may be unsafe to use accessories other than those approved by the manufacturer or distributor MAINTENANCE e Do not fold your stroller when wet e Machine wash removable seat and armrest covers using gentle cycle cold water andamild detergent Do not use bleach The canopy can only be spot washed e Do not use dryer to dry fabric parts e Do not leave your stroller in direct sunlight for extended periods of time e
11. e front forks by trying to pull out on the wheel It should not move out at all A WARNING Before each use always check to see the front wheel is securely and tightly fastened to the front forks Do not use your stroller if the front wheel does not tightly lock to the front forks Contact the appropriate service center listed after maintenance instructions for assistance NATIONAL MODEL NUMBER SL398D ATTACHING STROLLER SEAT IN REAR FACING POSITION There are two plastic hooks on either edge of the bottom front portion of the seat and one locking clamp with a red handle on the bottom back portion of the seat Fig 12 To attach the seat to the stroller frame in the rear facing position stand in front of and face the stroller Lower the plastic hooks onto the rear suspension bar It is helpful to hold the seat up at about a 45 degree angle with the hooks facing down so that you have a clear view of the hooks catching the suspension bar Fig 13 Then lower the back of the seat onto the front suspension bar and press down The locking clamp will click onto that bar as the seat locks into place Make sure that both of the hooks catch the suspension bar With your hands under the front and back of the seat lift up to make sure that it is properly installed You should be able to lift the entire stroller by the seat CHANGING THE DIRECTION OF THE SEAT To change the direction of the seat
12. eel hub While holding the retention wire out slide the wheel onto the axle Fig 8 Release the retention wire once the wheel slides as far as it will go onto the axle Fig 9 Pull out on the wheel to make sure it has been properly installed It should be locked to the axle Repeat for the other rear wheel A WARNING If you do not have two wheels with brake clogs do not use the stroller as those are your primary brakes Contact the appropriate service center listed after maintenance instructions for assistance Before each use double check to see that both rear wheels are properly secured to the rear axle ATTACHING THE FRONT WHEEL For easier access to the front fork tilt the stroller on its back Then loosen but do not remove the wheel locking lever and the tightening bolt on either side of the front wheel Line up the flat sides of the front wheel axle with the front forks Fig 10 and slide the wheel on Facing the stroller make sure the release lever is on the right hand side You will need to retighten both the release lever and locking nut There should be resistance as you push the locking lever all the way over and down so that it is parallel to the right front fork Fig 11 If there is little or no resistance push the lever back up and tighten the locking nut then push the lever back down Continue to do this a little ata time until the wheel is secure Check that the wheel is securely attached to th
13. r smooth flat surfaces and a normal walking pace CLOSING THE STROLLER FOR TRAVEL OR STORAGE Each time before closing your stroller check the following Your child is clear of moving parts The rear brakes have been set The backrest is fully reclined The front wheel is in the unlocked swivel position The canopy is retracted to a closed position All items have been removed from the basket underneath the stroller To close the stroller locate the plastic sliding mechanisms just below the height adjustment buttons on the handle Fig 26 Pull up on the metal secondary safety latch located on the underside of the left sliding mechanism With the metal latch held up slide the mechanisms toward you standing behind the stroller and ease the handle down until the stroller is completely folded Fig 27 Then engage the frame lock located on the left side of the stroller ERNATIONAL MODEL NUMBER SL398D ADJUSTING THE FOOTREST To raise the footrest lift upo and move it into the desired position To lower the footrest simultaneously press the adjusting buttons located on either side of the seat and move down into the desired position Fig 22 A WARNING Never allow your child to sit on the footrest This may result in injury to your child and or damage your stroller SAFETY HARNESS Zooper provides a special 5 point harness safety system on all our strollers Used properly thi
14. s harness will Keep your child seated and safe To secure your child in the harness push buckles A and B into the buckle housing C until the buckle prongs snap into position Carefully adjust slider D to fit snugly and comfortably around your child Fig 23 Follow the same procedure to adjust the shoulder straps Always retighten the harness when your child is in a sitting up or reclined position I Shoulders A WARNING Avoid serious injury or death from m Straps falling or sliding out ALWAYS use the seat belt NEVER leave your child unattended USING THE BRAKES To engage the brakes step down on each rear brake lever located on each rear wheel The brake levers should be facing out Always check that the brakes have fully engaged by pushing forward on the stroller to make sure it stays in place Lift the brake levers with your foot to release the brakes Fig 24 A WARNING Always engage both brakes when you are not holding onto the stroller and check that the brakes have been properly engages as described above Always engage the brakes when putting your Child in or taking your child out of the stroller USING THE SAFETY NETTING WHEN SEATBACK IS FULLY RECLINED The safety netting must be used whenever the seat is in a fully reclined position The safety netting is stitched into a pocket underneath the footrest fabric Pull the netting out of this pocket as far as the stitching will
