4. la altura retire el ventilador de la ventana Si es necesario una altura adicional de 4 o menos extienda el panel extensible hasta que concuerde con la altura de la ventana Por ejemplo si la altura de la ventana es de 28 ajuste el panel hasta que la altura del ventilador sea tambi n de 28 Si la altura del ventilador requerida es m s de 28 coloque uno o ambos paneles como se describe en el 2 de la secci n de arriba PARA VENTANAS DOBLES TIPO COLGANTE 3 Con la ventana completamente abierta ubique el ventilador en la ventana con el panel extensible hasta arriba y con el interruptor para el control del termostato mirando hacia dentro 4 El ventilador debe quedar asegurado contra el filo de adentro de la abertura de la ventana 5 Deslice la ventana corrediza hasta tocar con el filo del ventilador El filo del lado de la ventana debe estar asegurado detr s del borde del ventilador 6 Ajuste el panel extensible para rellenar el espacio sobrante entre el ventilador y el marco de la ventana El panel extensible se asegura en posici n usando un sistema de extensi n especialmente dise ado Para ajustarlo simplemente empuje o hale firmemente del panel INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 1 Aseg rese que el interruptor est en la posici n Apagado 2 Enchufe el ventilador en un tomacorriente 3 Este ventilador es reversible manualmente y funcionar en la posici n de entrada o salida dependiendo como sea ubicado en la vent
5. ado y recomendado para usarse con tela met lica en la ventana 4 Con la parte corrediza de la ventana abierta completamente tome la medida correcta de adentro de izquierda a derecha para la de tipo colgante y de arriba hacia abajo para la vertical de la ventana abriendo donde la unidad ha de ser colocada PARA VENTANAS DOBLES TIPO COLGANTE 1 Con la ventana completamente abierta coloque el ventilador en la ventana con los anaqueles para soporte mirando hacia arriba y el interruptor para el control del termostato hacia adentro 2 Sostenga el ventilador con una mano mientras coloca o ajusta los paneles con la otra mano Coloque uno de los paneles desliz ndolo por la ranura ubicada en la parte izquierda de arriba del ventilador Si se requiere un segundo panel col quelo desliz ndolo por la ranura en el lado del primer panel Antes de cerrar la ventana ajuste el panel extensible si fuera necesario 3 Cierre la ventana en la parte de arriba del ventilador con el filo de la base de la ventana detr s del borde de la parte de arriba del ventilador 4 Siel ventilador no entrara adecuadamente en la ventana ajuste otra vez el panel extensible del lado derecho del ventilador para rellenar el espacio sobrante entre el panel y el marco de la ventana hasta que quede asegurado adecuadamente PARA VENTANAS VERTICALES TIPO CORREDERAS 1 Ubique el ventilador en la ventana con el interruptor para el control del termostato hacia dentro 2 Para ajustar

12. f initial use you may notice a slight odor This is normal and will quickly disappear INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1 Unpack single window fan carefully 2 This unit is designed for use in double hung type windows and vertical slider type windows 3 This fan is designed to be used and recommended for use with a screen in the window 4 With the sliding portion of the window open fully take an accurate inside measurement left to right for double hung type windows and top to bottom for vertical slider type windows of the window opening where the unit is to be placed FOR DOUBLE HUNG TYPE WINDOWS 1 With the window fully open set the fan in the window with support brackets facing upward and the thermostat control switch facing inside 2 Hold fan with one hand while attaching adjusting panels with the other Attach one of the panel inserts by sliding it down the groove located at the top left of fan If second panel is required attach it by sliding it down the groove on the side of first panel Before closing window adjust expandable panel if necessary 3 Close the window on top of the fan with the bottom edge of the window behind the lip of fan housing 4 If the fan still does not fit properly in the window readjust the expandable panel on right side of fan to fill in remaining space between panel and window frame until a secure fitis achieved FOR VERTICAL SLIDER TYPE WINDOWS 1 Position the fan in the window with the thermostat
