8. iv Wet lint is hard to remove When replacing the screen push if firmly into place Close the lid i m wn o ny m c 2 z 2 QO 0 z m z a yn 0 gt z zZ Zz wn O ad m m z Using Your Dryer 4 Put the sorted load in the dryer and close the door tightly 2 Turn the Cycle Control Knob to the cycle you want e Use the Automatic Cycles for most loads Start with the painter at the middle of an Automatic Cycle See page 6 for more information NOTE In the Automatic Cycles the Cycle Control Knob does not keep moving It starts and stops depend ing on the heat and the dryness of the toad e Use TIMED DRYING for drying a certain number of minutes or for damp drying fluffing or tumbling items without air BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERDRY Overdrying can cause shrinkage static cling and damage to some fabrics 3 Set TEMPER ATURE SELECTOR e Turn the TEMPERATURE SELECTOR to the drying temperature needed for the load See page 5 for suggested settings 4 Push the Start Button e Make sure the door is closed and the Cycle Control is set If the door is opened during the cycle the dryer will stop To restart the dryer close the door and push the Start Button 5 To stop the dryer Open tne door e Or turn the Cycle Control Knob to one of the OFF positions e To change the setting while the dryer is running turn the Cycle Control Knob either wa

10. this setting lf the items are drier than you like use a setting nearer LESS DRY or COOL DOWN the next time you dry a load like that If the items are not as dry as you want use a setting nearer VERY DRY the next time you dry a load like that After drying a few loads you will find a favorite setting to use FLUFF AIR This temperature setting is useful for fluffing bedding pillows and cloth ing or dusting drapes It is also best to use when damp drying heat sensitive items Drying plastic or rubber items with heat may damage the items or be a fire hazard FLUFF AIR should be used for such items as plastic shower Curtains or tablecloths rubber backed rugs some pillows stuffed toys etc o Turn the TEMPERATURE SELECTOR fo FLUFF AIR e Turn the Cycle Control Knob to the number of minutes you want in the PERMANENT PRESS Cycle e Push the Start Button TUMBLE PRESS Control This setting is useful for removing wrinkles from packing in suitcases or closets TUMBLE PRESS will help put them back into their pre set shape e Set Cycle Control Knob to TUMBLE PRESS Xt Tumble press 7 dame 9 e Set TEMPERATURE SELECTOR to PERM T PRESS HEAVY HIGH e Push the Start Button For best results TUMBLE PRESS only a few items at a time put them on hangers or fold them as soon as the dryer stops If You Need Service or Help We Suggest You Follow These Three Steps 1 Before calling for service Pro
