Selectors Touch HOLD if you want to stop the washer for any reason but want to start it again where it left off e Touch HOLD if you want more than eight seconds to make selections Touch RUN to start the washer only when it s on HOLD POWER FAILURE If the electricity goes off or a fuse blows while the washer is running all selections are canceled See instructions on page 7 To Stop the Washer During spin touch HOLD or lift the lid Any time touch HOLD or switch to POWER OFF SPIN ONLY cancels all selections including HOLD 4aHSVM SNOA ONISN Water Levels and Load Sizes The LOAD SIZE SELECTOR lets you contro the amount of water that fills the washer The selector can be set at any water level between HANDWASH ABLE and EXTRA LARGE Setting Gallons Liters HANDWASHABLE 7 8 29 5 MEDIUM 13 9 52 6 EXTRA LARGE 20 5 77 6 Approximate fill witr load To change tne water level setting move the LOAD SIZE SELECTOR to RESET Then move it fo the setting you want To save water and energy match the water level to the load size For the best cleanirg results the oad should move freely in the water Watch for rollover An item ike a sock snould sink in the middle and come up later on the outside IMPORTANT e The HANDWASHABLE setting is designed for very small loads It uses very little water Too big a load in this amount of water may tear some items e Water may spl

22. sh the rinsing cycle Using Selections Together Your washer has Electronic Con trols that let many selections work together for the kind of wash you want There are many possible combi nations of selections so many that there isn t room to tel about each com bination possible The indicator lights will tell you what you need to know If fhe indicator light glows when you touch a selector the Electronic Controls accept the selection If if does not glow the Elec tronic Controls reject the selection 1 The indicator light will glow and stay glowing When this happens your selection has been accepted The washer will use that selection or option while it is operating 2 The indicator light will glow but another will go off This means that your second selection cancelled the first For example if you touched REG HEAVY and decide you want PERM T PRESS just touch PERM T PRESS The REG HEAVY Selection is cancelled and its indicator light goes off 3 The indicator light will not glow The Electronic Controls are designed to reject any option that shouldn t be used for the wash you selected For example if you touched KNITS GENTLE you won t be able to get the HOT WASH indicator light to glow Pages 8 through 13 of this Use amp Care Guide tell what happens during each selection For each selection there are details on which can and cant be used together gt m a _ m lt m m n G
