L Assemble a 5 16 FLAT WASHER 35 onto a 5 16 X 3 HEX HEAD BOLT 39 and bolt through the back of the REAR BASE 4 and then through the unassembled end of the ANGLE BRACKET 8 Secure with a 5 16 NYLON LOCK NUT 36 O Tighten securely both bolts of the Angle Bracket and any other Frame Bolts that you may not have completly tightened PAGE 8 WEIDER SPORTING GOODS 36 5 16 NYLON LOCK NUT 2 41 6 16 X 1 HEX HEAD BOLT 50 1 4 X 3 4 MACHINE SCREW C Turn the BACKREST 21 over so the side with the holes is showing The end of the Backrest where the hole pattern is closest to the end is the bottom of the Backrest C Attach the LONG ANGLE IRONS 22 to the BACKREST 21 using 1 4 X 3 4 MACHINE SCREWS 50 to bolt through the Angle Iron and into the Backrest It is important to note that the Long Angle Irons must be positioned so that the flat side of the Angle Irons s faced to the inside of the Backrest pad SEE ILLUSTRATION L Attach the ANGLE IRON BRACES 23 to the center hole on the LONG ANGLE IRONS 22 making sure that the Angle Iron Braces are positioned with the flat side of the Brace facing the inside of the Backrest Pad SEE ILLUSTRATION C Using 5 16 X 1 HEX HEAD BOLTS 41 bolt through the outside of the ANGLE IRON re 23 and Ka thr ugh th AA LO ANGLE IRON n Secure with 5 16 NYLON LOCK NUTS 36 PAGE 9

ND PLASTIC INSERT CAP 58 into the front end of the WEIGHT PIN 10 C Press a1 COVER CAP with 15 ANGLE 63 onto the Weight Pin protruding from the back of the LEG CURL 6 WEIGHT PIN C Assemble the LEG CURL 6 between the Leg Curl brackets on the front of the MAIN FRAME 2 and bolt together using a 5 16 X 3 HEX HEAD BOLT 39 to bolt through the brackets and then the Leg Curl Secure with 546 NYLON LOCK NUT 36 This bolt should be tightened but not so tight that the Leg Curl can not swing freely Swing the Leg Cur several times and adjust the tightness accordingly O Select two of the three PAD BARS 11 packed with this unit They are round tubes 3 4 in diameter and 1 6 3 4 long Press 3 4 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAPS 59 into the ends of the Pad Bars e E O Apply a small amount of liquid dish detergent onto the PAD BARS 11 near the ends This acts as a lubricant to assemble the Foam Rollers and then acts as an adhesive after it rles L To each PAD BAR 11 slide on one each of the FOAM ROLLER PADS 3X7 12 O Assemble the PAD BARS 11 through the two large holes at both ends of the LEG CURL 6 Assemble on the other FOAM ROLLER PAD 12 Sones L Press a2 SQUARE PLASTIC INSERT CAP 57 into the top and the front end of the LEG CURL 6 PAGE 12 WEIDER SPORTING GOODS O Cap the ends of the round tube welded to the SLIDING STEP 7 MAST ASSEMBLY i ADJUSTMENT WEIGHT BAR 14 wi

WEIDER SPORTING GOODS STEP 4 ATTACHING SEAT amp BACKREST 70 1 2 X SA METAL SPACER C Attach SEAT MOUNTING PLATES 24 to the front hole location on the MAIN FRAME 2 using a 1 4 X 2 1 2 CARRIAGE BOLT 45 to bolt down through the Seat Mounting Plate and then through the top of the Main Frame Secure with 1 4 NYLON LOCK NUT 52 O Position the SEAT 25 onto the front of the MAIN FRAME 2 so the mounting holes in the brackets align with the holes on the underside of the Seat C At the mounting hole location in the brackets use two 1 4 X 3 4 MACHINE SCREWS 50 to bolt up through the Seat Mounting Plate and then into the Seat L Position the bottom of the BACKREST 21 where the hole patterns in the LONG ANGLE IRONS 22 are closest to the end of the Backrest onto the MAIN FRAME 2 trapping the Main Frame between the Long Angle Irons L Using a 5M6 X 3 1 2 HEX HEAD BOLT 42 bolt through one LONG ANGLE IRON 22 then through a 1 2 O D X 7 16 SPACER 69 through the MAIN FRAME 2 then through another SPACER 69 and finally through the other LONG ANGLE IRON 22 Secure with a 5 16 NYLON LOCK NUT 36 L To assemble the ANGLE IRON BRACES 23 to the MAIN FRAME 2 use a 5 16 X 4 1 2 HEX HEAD a ogni BOLT 62 to bolt through one of the desired four hole settings on one Brace then through the Main Frame and finally through the setting of the other Angle Ir

9. d the back of the Mast Cap LI Position the LONG CABLE 17 over the top of the two 4 PULLEYS 30 and insert the Pulleys into the top of the Mast Cap Align the bolt holes in the Cap with the Pulley Bushings Using 3 8 X 1 1 2 HEX HEAD BOLTS 48 boft through the Cap and then through the Pulley Fasten with 3 8 NYLON LOCK NUTS 49 _ Assemble a 1 4 X 1 1 4 MACHINE SCREW 51 into the hole location closest to the edge of the Mast Cap Secure with a 1 4 NYLON LOCK NUT 52 insert a 112 X 3 4 METAL SPACER 70 intoa 2 7 8 PULLEY 29 PAGE 13 WEIDER SPORTING GOODS L rape the SHORT CABLE 43 1 8 18 over the top of the PULLEY 29 and assemble the Pulley into the PULLEY U O Eb Aa E O BRACKET 15 trapping the Cable between the Pulley and the Bracket Bolt the Pulley into the Bracket using a 3 18 X 1 1 2 HEX HEAD BOLT 48 to bolt through the Bracket and then the Pulley Fasten with a 318 NYLON LOCK NUT 49 Connect the two CABLES 17 and 18 with 2287 HOOK Ba 2 Connect the other end of the LONG CABLE 17 to a FIREMAN S LATCH HOOK 68 and then to the EYELET BOLT 34 in the round tube welded to the SLIDING ADJUSTMENT WEIGHT BAR 14 on the front of the Mast Press 3 4 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAPS 59 into the ends of a3 4 X 16 PAD BAR 11 Apply a small amount of liquid dish detergent along the Pad Bar near the ends Slide a 2 1 4 X7 FOAM ROLLER PAD 26 onto one end of t
10. he Pad Bar Insert a2 COVER CAP WITH 1 3 4 OPENING 61 into the top of the leg of the MAIN FRAME 2 Assemble the MAST 13 into the top of the MAIN FRAME 2 at the front of the unit Fasten into place by aligning the hole locations on the Mast and the Main Frame by inserting the assembled Pad Bar into the Main Frame and then through the Mast Assemble another FOAM ROLLER PAD 26 onto the inserted Pad Bar end SEE DETAIL A 6 Secure the MAST 13 by threading the PLASTIC KNOB 64 9 into the front of the leg of the MAIN FRAME 2 and then into the Mast Press 1 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAPS 58 into the ends of the LAT BAR 19 Wipe a small amount of liquid dish detergent onto each end of the LAT BAR 19 Slide 1 X 5 FOAM GRIPS 20 onto each end of the Bar nome DETAIL A Remove the POWER GLIDE MAST DECAL 77 from the backing sheet and a affix to the front of the Mast directly below the lower Pulley assembly _USING MAST ASSEMBLY ROWING AND CURLS INSERT THE MAST ASSEMBLY INTO THE FRONT LEG OF THE MAIN FRAME 2 SECURE WITH THE PLASTIC THREADED KNOB 64 CONNECT THE LOOP OF THE LONG CABLE 17 INTO THE EYELET BOLT ON THE SLIDING ADJUSTMENT WEIGHT BAR 14 USE S HOOKS 65 TO CONNECT THE LONG CABLE 17 TO THE SHORT CABLE 18 AND THEN TO THE LAT BAR 19 WITH THIS CONFIGURATION ROWING AND CURL EXERCISES MAY BE PERFORMED FREE WEIGHTS CAN BE LOADED ON EITHER THE WEIGHT PIN OR THE SLIDING ADJUSTMENT
