1. mo l l ELECTRIC THE BEST CHOICE ALARM AUDIBLE amp VISUAL SIGNALS CONDITION SOLUTION RED LED GREEN LED Flashes On once every 40 45 seconds USI 1204 AC DC SMOKE ALARM OPERATIONAL SUMMARY Stays On AC Power is present Flashes On once every 40 45 seconds AC Power is not present Check the breaker or fuse box for power If the breaker or Off a i fuse box looks normal call a licensed electrician for assistance 3 Beeps 2 second Flashes On once pause 3 Beeps per second The test button has been pressed The test sequence lasts for approximately 3 10 Stays On seconds 3 Beeps 2 second Flashes On once pause 3 Beeps per second Stays On Originating smoke alarm the alarm has sensed smoke 3 Beeps 2 second Does not Flash On pause 3 Beeps once per second Stays On Non originating smoke alarm an interconnected smoke alarm has sensed smoke Silence Mode The alarm is in silence mode that was initiated by pressing and holding the test button for 3 seconds or longer The silence mode will last for approximately 3 5 minutes Beeps every 30 40 Flashes On once every seconds 40 45 seconds Stays On Low Battery Turn off AC Power and replace the 9V battery see user s manual for recommended type of battery Also check to make sure the polarity is correct for th battery terminals and the battery pull tab has been removed Single Chirp every 40 Flashes On once every seconds 40 45 seconds

Stays On Please take all precautions if an alarm sounds by calling an Emergency Service and getting out of the home If there is no visible hazard present turn off AC Power at tr circuit breaker or fuse box and disconnect the alarm from the mounting bracket and make sure the connector plug is securely attached Press the test button to see if the alarm is functioning properly Check that the alarm is mounted in the correct location away from areas with high humidity or turbulent air refer to user s manual Horn sounds when no visible hazard present Flashes On once per second Stays On Horn does not sound when other alarms are active or horn does not sound when interconnected alarms test button is pressed Press and hold the test button longer Verify the remote smoke alarms are receiving power and are functioning properly Turn off AC Power at the circuit breaker or fuse Off box and disconnect the alarm from the mounting bracket and make sure the connector plug is securely attached Have the wiring checked by a licensed electrician to make sure all the interconnect points are connected NOTE If you have any additional questions about your USI 1204 please contact our Customer Service Department at 1 800 390 4321 and we will gladly assist you 2006 USI ELECTRIC INC
