Quick Start Guide and GPS Receiver Guide GPSReceiver not in software only packages NOTE Make sure no previous version of CoPilot is installed see above In Vehicle Power Adapter not in software only packages Two ways to install CoPilot are described on pages iii iv Use the Quick Start Vent Mount not in software only packages Installation if your product shipped with a Quick Start storage card otherwise follow the Install From CD instructions Quick Start Installation If your product shipped with a Quick Start storage card just follow these simple steps to get started with CoPilot Otherwise skip to the Install From CD section below 1 Ensure your Pocket PC is fully charged and powered on 2 Attach your GPS receiver to your Pocket PC 3 Insert the Quick Start storage card in your Pocket PC The software and map data will install automatically If they do not then follow these additional steps on your Pocket PC a Tao the Start menu and select Progrars File Explorer b In the My Device folder select your storage card normally called Storage Card CF Card or SD Card c Select the 2577 folder and then tao AUTORUN The software and map data will install without desktop laotop synchronization d Skip to Step 5 Activate the software on page v Install From CD If your product did not ship with a Quick Start storage card follow these instruc tions to get started with CoPilot Your desktop laotop and Poc

If you have purchased an additional data regon after your initial purchase of CoPilot you will need to modify the orignal Base installation and activate the new regon IMPORTANT You can only use your Expansion Product Key AFTER you have installed CoPilot with a Base Product Key If you have not yet installed CoPilot please do so first and then follow the instructions below The Base Product Key can be found on the printed Quick Start Guide that comes with CoPilot ON YOUR DESKTOP LAPTOP 1 Insert your CoPilot Install Disc into your CD ROM drive 2 Select Modify and click Next when the InstallShield W izard appears 3 Enter your Expansion Product Key when prompted to enter a Product Key 4 Follow the on screen instructions 5 The Activation W izard will aopear at the end of installation Activation occurs just as it did when you orignadlly installed CoPilot ON YOUR POCKET PC IMPORTANT You must install CoPilot to your Pocket PC using your Base Product Key AND you must have data downloaded to your Pocket PC before using your Expansion Product Key 1 Open CoPilot on your Pocket PC 2 If your GPS receiver is attached CoPilot will ask you to confirm your destination or to enter a new one Enter any destination to proceed If your GPS receiver is not attached go to Step 3 3 Tao Tools gt U pgrade Licence from the menu on the bottom of the screen 4 Enter your Expansion Product Key found in your order confirmeti
