Battery Operated AaS Hose End Timer READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSERTING BATTERIES SAVE THIS INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR FUTURE REFERENCE Safety Guidelines e This timer is designed for residential outdoor watering use only e Detach the timer from the faucet at the end of watering season e Do not use with water exceeding 100 F 38 C or with pressure exceeding 125 PSI e Drain all water and remove batteries before storage 3 4 Swivel Faucet Coupling Frequency Dial Installation 1 Turn the battery door to the open position using a flat head screwdriver or coin as shown see figure 1 Manual Watering ON Duration Dial 2 Install two AA alkaline batteries see figure 2 then secure the battery door eons NOTE Always install new AA alkaline batteries Low Battery 3 Before attaching the timer to the outdoor faucet manually check the timer 2a Indicator Light operation by turning the duration dial to the ON setting You will hear the motor in approximately two seconds This indicates that the batteries are installed correctly Return the dial to the OFF setting before attaching the timer to the outdoor faucet 4 Connect the timer to your outdoor faucet and hose Be sure all connections are secure before turning on the water Set Watering Frequency FIGURE 1 FIGURE 2 1 To set watering frequency interval turn the frequency dial to the desired length of2. l Watering Turn the duration dial to the ON setting for manual watering Low Battery Indicator When the battery voltage drops below operating voltage the timer will no longer operate and the indicator light will turn on Replace batteries immediately and reset program Part No 102 3361 Blue Stripe Drip Model 53746
