CAUTION HOT SURFACES This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns fires or other injury to persons or damage to property CAUTION This appliance is hot during operation and retains heat for some time after turning off Always use oven mitts when handling hot materials and allow metal parts to cool before cleaning Do not place anything on top of the appliance while it is operating or while it is hot All users of this appliance must read and understand this Use and Care Guide before operating or cleaning this appliance The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet only If this appliance begins to malfunction during use immediately unplug the cord Do not use or attempt to repair the malfunctioning appliance Do not leave this appliance unattended during use Short Cord Instructions A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord Do not use an extension cord with this product Polarized Plug Some mode s have a polarized plug one blade is wider than the other To reduce the risk of electric shock this plug isintended to fit into a polarized outlet only one wey If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet reverse the plug If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician Do not attempt to modify the plug in any wey Grou

5. nded 3 Conductor Plug Some models have a 3 prong grounded type plug This plug will only fit into an electrical outlet made for a 3 prong plug This isa safety feature If the plug should fail to fit the outlet contact an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature Electric Power If the electrical circuit isoverloaded wth other appliances your appliance may not operate properly It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances Conditioning Grids The grid surfaces should be conditioned before each heating that follows a cleaning To condition lightly coat the grid surfaces with solid vegetable shortening Do not use rayon oil products Plug into any 120 V 60 Hz outlet The red power on light will come on and stayon during use The green light will come on indicating that the unit is heating for modes TWB2WREG and TWB2WREGCAN Allowto preheat approximately 5 minutes For model TWB2REGT the green light will come on when unit is preheated The green light will continue to come on and go off during use When the green light turns off unit is preheated for modes TWB2WREG and TWB2WREGCAN The grids are ready to use To protect the premium quality non stick surfaces use only plastic nylon or wooden utensils Carefully follow suggested cleaning procedures After a time if waffles show signs of sticking carefully recondition your unit e E st hcee esas sae set

8. szssse et aesst ace eadastean ca caetsieeeeatcstasseneeicetestanseneeis Ar B Using Your Weffle Baker CAUTION Never place any part of appliance in weter or other liquids 1 Before using your weffle baker for the first time wipe the grids with a damp cloth to remove all dust and dry Follow instructions for CONDITIONING GRIDS 2 Unwrap the cord completely from unit close lid and plug into 120 V 60 Hz outlet The red power light will come on and stay on during use The green light will come on indicating that the unit is heating for models TWB2WREG and TWB2WREGCAN Allow to preheat approximately 5 minutes For model TWB2REGT the green light will come on when unit is preheated The green light will continue to come on and go off during use Initially some smoking may occur Thisis normal for newy manufactured appliances and will not occur after the first few uses When preheated the green light will turn off for models TWB2WREG and TWB2WREGCAN The grids are ready to use CAUTION Appliance surfaces are hot during use 3 Raise lid and carefully pour approximately cup of batter evenly onto lower grid Close the lid do not latch The green light will cycle on and off while maintaining proper cooking temperatures The amount of batter required may vary with recipe or brand of mix Any weffle recipe or mix may be used While cooking the red power on light wil be on 4 Allow weffle to bake for 2 4 minutes The exact baking time
9. will be a matter of recipe taste and your preference for browning 5 Gently lift the lid to check for brownness If lid shows resistance to lifting the waffle may not be quite done Close lid and watch for steaming to stop before checking again Remove weffle when browned using a plastic spatula If a second weffle is desired pour batter immediately and close lid 6 When finished baking unplug from the wall outlet and allow to cool before cleaning See CARE AND CLEANING Waffle Baker Use and Care Guide Waffles Measure dry ingredients into mixing bow Blend Combine egg yolks and milk Stir into dry ingredients Stir in cooking oil Carefully fold in egg whites Do not over mix Pour approximately cup of batter onto the preheated conditioned weffle grid Close and bake 1 cups all purpose flour 3 egg yolks beaten 1TBL sugar 1 cups milk 7 tsp salt 72 Cup vegetable oil 2 tsp baking powder 3 egg whites beaten stiff Makes about 4 weffles User Maintenance Instructions This appliance requires little maintenance It contains no user serviceable parts Do not tryto repair it yourself Contact a qualified appliance repair technician if the product requires servicing Care and Cleaning CAUTION Unplug from electrical outlet and allow to cool thoroughly before deaning Never immerse appliance in water or other liquids Brush grids with clean soft pastry brush or cloth Do not us teel wool or coarse scouring pad
