11. high speed Press amp hold Kt To search forward at a high speed Press amp hold PI Note Low level audio will be heard during the search process to assist in locating correct point in the track ESP ANTI SKIP PROTECTION This player incorporates the latest digital anti skip circuit which prevents interruption of the sound output if the unit is subjected to shock or vibration during disc playback The anti skip system will automatically be activated when a disc is played and will show the ESP in the display The ESP icon will flash rapidly while the data buffer fills and then steadily when it is full The sound will mute for approximately 1 second while the buffer fills Once full the buffer will give approximately 60 seconds of protection against interruption of sound output If the player is subjected to shock or rolling for longer than the buffer memory some interruption of sound output will occur This is normal and to be expected and the sound will resume once the player has stabilized from the shock or rolling disturbance NOTE e To turn off this function press the ESP button e While the ESP Anti skip function provides for continuous sound output when the unit is subjected to shock or vibration It will not compensate for errors arising from the use of defective scratched or dirty discs e When using the ESP Anti skip function the battery power consumption increases due to the faster disc rotation and the ac
