5. button OPEN switch PMD playing Playing an MD You can operate the player on a dry battery You can also operate the player ona rechargeable battery or house current see Power Sources Playback will switch automatically between stereo and monaural according to the sound source 1 Open the battery compartment lid and insert an LR6 alkaline battery like the illustration in this manual 2 Insert an MD Push the OPEN switch and open the lid Insert the MD with the label side facing up and press the lid down to close 3 Play the MD Connect the headphones supplied to the remote control Connect the headphones with remote control supplied to the Q headphones jack of the player Press B e PPI Turn the control to Bb PP I on the remote control The player starts to play the first track A short beep sounds in the headphones Press VOLUME buttons or the VOL buttons on the remote control to adjust the volume The volume will be displayed on the remote control To stop play press W A long beep sounds in the headphones Other disc operation To Do this Beeps in the headphones Pause Press Ill on the remote control Continuous short beeps Press Il again to resume play Press k d once beginning of Turn the control to Kd the current on the remote control track Three short beeps Find the Press B gt PPI once beginning of Turn the control to
