To undo the Name Function Use the Undo Function immediately after you erased the track see page 59 Labelling titles during recording CD MD Synchro Recording If CD TEXT lights up or flashes during recording you can record the CD TEXT information onto the MD as follows e Automatically during recording If you record on an unrecorded or completely erased see page 51 MD when CD TEXT is lit the CD TEXT information except for the disc title is automatically recorded e Manually during recording When CD TEXT flashes press NAME EDIT CHARACTER then press PUSH ENTER to record the title of the current track Note Depending on the disc the CD TEXT information may not be recorded automatically Erasing recordings Erase Function The MD deck lets you erase unwanted tracks quickly and easily You can restore the contents to the condition before erasing unerase by using the Undo function Check carefully the portion to be erased as you cannot undo an edit after performing any additional edits The three options for erasing recordings are e Erasing a single track Track Erase e Erasing all the tracks All Erase e Erasing a portion of a track A B Erase To erase a single track You can erase a track simply by selecting its track number When you erase a track the total number of tracks on the MD decreases by one and all the tracks following the erased one are renumbere
