1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS VACUUM COLLECTOR ADAPTOR MFG NO 1691170 FOR 42 MOWERS MFG NO 1691009 amp 1691182 MFG NO 1691171 FOR 48 MOWERS MFG NO 1690986 amp 1691193 PARTS LIST Mounted on mower deck J WARNING Yeflector The adapter is part of the vacuum collector system ots Do not operate unless the adapter and entire n brace vacuum collector are installed If vacuum collector is removed remove the adapter and be sure mower deflector is In original position n raised A WARNING Shut off tractor engine and remove key before installing or removing the adapter INSTALLATION 1 Refer to figure I to take inventory of required parts 2 Attach the latch K figure 1 to the adapter with 5 16 18 x 1 carriage bolt Q 7 16 x I washer P 5 16 washer N 5 16 lockwasher M and 5 16 nut L 3 Install the spacer D figure 1 with hardware shown hardware for 48 mower NOTE in hole A figure 2 in mower deck Remove existing Deflector brace F figure 1 and adaptor hold hardware For the 42 adapter use a 3 8 16 x 1 down R are preassembled to adaptor O with carriage bolt For the 48 adapter use a 3 8 16x 1 1 4 rivets G carriage bolt For the 42 adapter use a 3 8 washer B figure 1 3 8 lockwasher M and 3 8 nut N Figure 1 i 3 nee supplied For the 48 mower use existing washer and Ref Qty Description Part No nut and the 3 8 washe2. hooking from spacer and stone guard Be sure mower deflector is down in original position
