EDIR0O F V 4 Cross Fader Owner s Manual Before using this unit carefully read the sections entitled USING THE UNIT SAFELY and IMPORTANT NOTES These sections provide important information concerning the proper operation of the unit Additionally in order to feel assured that you have gained a good grasp of every feature provided by your new unit Owner s Manual should be read in its entirety The manual should be saved and kept on hand as a convenient reference Adjusting the V 4 The V 4 requires adjustment whenever the cross fader is replaced or the stroke is adjusted 1 Connect the PREVIEW OUT jack on the V 4 to a television monitor Fig 1 Installing the Cross Fader 1 Switch off the power to the V 4 2 Using a Phillips screwdriver remove the screws at the four corners of the video fader Fig 1 3 Turn the video fader upside down and detach the cable connecting the V 4 to the video fader The cable is held in place by a hook on the video fader Detach the cable from the hook Fig 2 then disconnect the connector on the video fader Fig 2 When reinstalling the video fader orient the connector as shown in the figure and insert it After attaching the connector secure the cable in place on the hook Portions of the connector for the video fader are sharp When unplugging or inserting the connector be careful not to get your hands cut 4 Orient the connector as shown in the figure and ins
