R RadioShack Heavy Duty Wall Phone with Lighted Keypad 43 3260 What s Included 7 foot line cord 77 inch modular cord 9 foct coil cord Owners Manual Preparation Selecting a Mounting Location Your telephone connects directly to a moddar telephone line jack If your telephone wiring does not have a modular jack you can update the wiring yourself using jacks and adapters available at your local RadioShack store or online at Ww radioshack com or have the telephone company update the wiring for you You must use compatible nodular jacks that are compliant wth Part 68 of FCC Rules and the requirements adopted by the ACTA The telephone cord and nodular plug provided are Part 68 compliant for connecting to the telephone company network For single line phones The USOC number of the jack to be installed is RJ 11C or RJ L1W for a well plate jack For 2 line phones The USOC number of the single line jack to be installed is RJ 11C or RJ 11W for a well plate jack The USOC number for a two line jack is RJ 14C or RJ 14W for a welll plate Mounting and Connecting the Phone lt i To mount your phone on a welll plate do the following 1 Plug one end of the supgiied short nodular cord into the line jack at the back of the base Note Coil any excess cord inside the conpartrrert below the line jack at the back of the base 2 Plug the other end of the cord into a vall plate jack 3 Align the base
