1. 6 After mounting the sander wheel and sandpaper disc hold the sander under a workbench and run it for at least 60 seconds to be sure the sanding wheel and sandpaper disc are secure Make certain no one including the operator is in the operating plane of the sanding wheel Note Replacement sand papor disc are avaliable from Coleman Order part P024 0120SP OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Wear Wear Safety Hearing Goggles Protection As a standard practice drain water from air compressor tank and blow con densation from air line prior to use each day 1 Start up your air compressor Operating pressure 90 PSI maximum 2 Squeeze throttle trigger gently Start the sander off the work Hold the tool at a slight angle to the work surface Move it slowly back and forth in wide overlapping areas Let the sander do the work Do not put additional pressure on the sander this slows down the speed of the pad reducing sanding efficiency and puts additional burden on the air tool motor 3 When you re finished sanding lift sander off the work before releasing the throttle trigger NOTE Propor sanding requires starting with sandpaper just course enought to remove the high spots and surface roughness and changing to successively finer sandpaper until the desired surface finish is achieved 1 Disconnect the angle sander from the air supply 2 Add 4 6 drops of Coleman air tool oil 018 O059SP SAE10 nondetergent oil or equ2. 5. brication and maintenance 11 Do not abuse the hoses or connectors by carrying the tool by the hose or yanking it to disconnect it from the air supply Keep the hose away from heat oil and sharp edges The hose should be replaced if it is damaged or worn 12 Place cleaning rags and other flammable waste materials in a secured metal container The container should be disposed of properly in accordance with local state and federal regulations 13 ARE operate the tool over 90 PSI air pressure Use a pressure ulator to reduce line pressures to 90 PSI 14 Al AYS operate the tool a safe distance from people or pets wo N ao wn BR co xn _ BEFORE YOU START gt MAINTENANCE Air Su Lubrication See Model Specifications for important information on your air tool Lubricate the tool before using See Maintenance Assembly When attaching or removing sanding disks from sander always turn off the air supply and disconnect the air supply hose 1 Secure the handle included with your tool to the left or right side of the tool body 2 Use the wrenches included with your tool for loosening or securing the pad nut 3 Place one wrench on the flats of the sander shaft to hold it from turning 4 Place the second wrench the one with the two prongs on the pad nut and turn counterclockwise to remove 5 Screw the sanding wheel and sandpaper disc onto the sander shaft and secure the pad nut with the wrenches
