1. PROGRAMMING TRACK NUMBERS You may select a number of tracks and store these in the memory in the desired sequence You may store any track more than once When playing you will only hear the stored titles in the selected sequence At most 20 tracks can be stored in the memory When the memory is full the character FULL appears Manual selecting e Load the CD but do not press PLAY yet e Select the desired track using the buttons me PREVIOUS and NEXT until the display shows the required track number e Store this track by pressing PROGRAM the character appears indicating that the track has been stored e Select and store in this way all desired titles Storeng during PLAY e During normal PLAY you may store the running title by pressing PROGRAM the character appears indicating that the track has been stored Checking the program e From the STOP position keep the PROG button pressed the display shows in sequence all programmed track numbers Erasing a program e You can erase the contents of the memory by pressing STOP twice the character for CLEAR appears by opening the CD door using OPEN CLOSE if you move the POWER ON selector if the batteries get exhausted or if the power supply Is interrupted How to play the stored selection e To play your selection the CD player should be in position STOP then press PLAY gt now the word PROGRAM appears e To repeat the selection
2. 6 CD Player e lt PREVIOUS NEXT gt By pressing briefly the NEXT or PREVIOUS button you can jump to a next or previous title or you can select a track before starting playback a During PLAY NEXT go to the next track title You can jump to the next title by pressing NEXT once lf you want to skip more than one track press NEXT more than once until the display shows the desired track number PREVIOUS m go to the previous track title lf you want to repeat the running title from the beginning press PREVIOUS e once lf you want to repeat one of the previous titles press PREVIOUS t more than once until the display shows the required track number b in position STOP In position STOP with a CD inserted you can select the desired title using PREVIOUS te or NEXT until the display shows the required track number Press PLAY to start playback SEARCH FORWARD gt BACKWARD K lt By keeping pressed the NEXT or PREVIOUS button during playback you can search for a particular passage within a track The CD is played partly and at high speed however the sound is still recognizable e During playback keep NEXT for search forward and PREVIOUS te for search backward pressed e Release the button as soon as you recognize the required passage the CD will be played in the normal way from this passage If the button is pressed longer than 5 seconds the search speed increases

APE Do not move this selector during dubbing Set the HI SPEED DUBBING button to A for normal speed copying gt for high speed copying Do not press this button during dubbing Press both STOP Mi buttons and insert a recorded cassette into deck 2 and a cassette which is suited for recording into deck 1 Press on deck 1 PAUSE M and then RECORD O To start dubbing press PLAY on deck 2 PAUSE H is then released By pressing PAUSE M on deck 1 you can omit undesired passages while deck 2 continues To restart copying press PAUSE II once more Using PAUSE tof deck 2 deck 1 will record a blank part To stop dubbing press both STOP MH buttons the set is then switched off English ysijbuq 7 CASSETTE DECK 8 MAINTENANCE CASSETTE PLAYBACK GENERAL Playback on deck 1 or 2 e The mechanical parts of the CD player and Deck 1 will not play if the PLAY button on the cassette decks contain self lubricating ae 2 is pressed bearings and must not be oiled or lubricated e Achamois leather slightly moistened with water is sufficient for cleaning the housing e Do not use cleaning agents as these may harm the housing e Do not leave the set batteries CDs or e Set the POWER ON selector 6 to TAPE Press STOP E to open the cassette holder e Inserta recorded cassette e For fast winding press lt lt or cassettes for any length of time in direct gt gt To stop press STOP Ml sunlight or other place
