1. 3. b LS 10E in korrekter Lage c Schlitz zum Einlegen des Dias d Kontrollampe e Feinfokussierung Die R ckseite des LS 10E ist in 2 2 abgebildet Sie enth lt vier Elemente den Anschlu f r den Netzstecker die beiden SCSI Steckverbinder den SCSI Adressenschalter und die SCSI Klemmen fl SCSI Steckverbinder g SCSI Adressenschalter h Netzanschlu i SCSI Klemmen Der externe Scanner LS 10E muB horizontal aufgestellt werden Somit kann er neben oder auf dem Computer stehen so da maximale Stabilit t gew hrleistet ist Aufstellung des Scanners neben dem Computer Wenngleich der Scanner recht unempfindlich gegen ber den Umgebungsverh ltnissen ist sollten bei der Wahl des Aufstellungsorts folgende Kriterien in Betracht gezogen werden 1 Stellen Sie den Scanner so nah am Computer auf da die vorgeschriebene Maximall nge des SCSI Kabels nicht berschritten wird 2 Stellen Sie den Scanner so auf da er zum Einlegen und Entnehmen des Films leicht zu erreichen ist 3 Stellen Sie den Scanner auf einer ebenen stabilen Fl che auf 4 Stellen Sie den Scanner au er Reichweite von sch dlichen Fl ssigkeiten auf d h keinesfalls in der N he von Ausg ssen Kaffeemaschinen usw 5 Sch tzen Sie den Scanner vor N sse Feuchtigkeit Staub und Rauch 6 Vermeiden Sie Aufstellungsorte an denen pl tzliche Temperaturschwankungen zur Kondenswasserbildung innerhalb des Scanners f hren k nnten Ve

OFF Si elle n est pas fournie par les autres p riph riques placez le sur ON ON Fournit l alimentation de terminaison SCSI OFF Coupe l alimentation de terminaison SCSI 2 3 AbschluB der SCSI Kette Bei der SCSI Kette handelt es sich um einen elektrischen Bus zwischen zwei oder mehreren Geraten Dieser Bus muB auf jeden Fall entsprechend terminiert sein damit die SCSI Peripherieger te einwandfrei arbeiten k nnen Bei Abschlu handelt es sich um einen elektronischen Fachausdruck der sich auf den Widerstand an beiden Enden eines Busses bezieht Die elektrischen Signale auf dem SCSI Bus wechseln in schneller Folge zwischen dem digitalen EIN und AUS Zustand Um das Rauschen auf ein Minimum zu verringern wird der Bus an beiden Enden abgeschlossen Der Effekt eines solchen Abschlusses mag gering sein er ist jedoch wichtig Achtung Falscher SCSI Abschlu kann unvorhersehbare Fehler verursachen Normalerweise befindet sich der Computer an einem Ende des SCSI Busses Sofern dies der Fall ist mu der SCSI Controller im Computer terminiert werden Sollte ein weiteres SCSI Peripherieger t diesen SCSI Bus teilen mu auch dieses abgeschlossen werden Befinden sich weitere SCSI Ger te auf dem Bus zwischen den beiden vorgenannten SCSI Ger ten so k nnen diese NICHT terminiert werden Am SCSI Bus k nnen sich nur zwei Abschlu schaltungen befinden eine an jedem Ende Abschlu eines LS 10E An der R ckseite d

Operation to Use a Strip Film Holder Negative processed film is typically cut into strips of four to six frames per strip It is not necessary to cut and mount this film before scanning The scanner can accommodate film strips up to six frames long using the strip film holder The strip film holder is shown in Figure 4 9 a Front of strip film holder b Top of strip film holder c Back of strip film holder The front of the strip film holder is the tapered end It is designed to fit easily into the scanner film slot similar to inserting a slide The back of the strip film holder is wider than the front It extends out the front of the scanner during scanning operations Insert the holder from the narrow side with arrow heading into the scanner up to the VIE mark Always eject the holder by using the software function button When closed as shown in Figure 4 9 the strip film holder fits into the scanner just as a slide would Of course the back end of the holder extends out of the scanner during the scanning operation Any excess film in the strip will always extend out the back end of the strip film holder A typical example is shown in Figure 4 10 Note that the film extends out the back of the strip film holder d Front of strip film holder e Film strip with six frames f Back of strip film holder 4 3 Num risation de film en bande Le film n gatif sortant du laboratoire est la plupart du temps d co

83. mputers Die SCSI Schnittstelle des Computers befindet sich entweder innerhalb des Computers oder an dessen R ckseite Dieses Handbuch behandelt drei Grundtypen von SCSI Steckverbindern Bei den drei hier beschriebenen SCSI Steckverbindern handelt es sich um den internen 50poligen Steckverbinder den externen 25poligen Steckverbinder vom Typ DB25 und den externen Centronics Steckverbinder mit 50 Polen Achtung Der Schnittstellenanschlu dt Seet nicht bei laufendem Computer An Anschlu im Innern des Computers Beim SCSI Steckverbinder innerhalb des Computers handelt es sich um einen in Abb 3 10 dargestellten 50 poligen Flachsteckverbinder Beachten Sie die Lage von Stift 1 sowie der F hrung Es gibt viele verschiedene Formen von 50poligen Flachsteckverbindern Sie sind alle hnlich jedoch haben einige F hrungen andere wiederum nicht Bei einigen ist Stift 1 deutlich gekennzeichnet bei anderen nicht Wieder andere haben Hebel zum leichteren Ansetzen und Abnehmen a Zum Abnehmen des Steckverbinders Flachsteckverbinder vorsichtig mit kleinem flachen Schraubendreher herausheben b SCSI Steckverbinder c Steckkarte d SCSI Flachkabel Beim Einsetzen und Abnehmen dieser 50poligen Steckverbinder ist Vorsicht am Platze Die Steckverbinder sind sehr empfindlich Beachten Sie deshalb die folgenden Regeln 1 Wenden Sie niemals Gewalt an 2 Achten Sie vor dem Ansetzen auf genaue Ausrichtung 3 Ziehen Sie grund
