4. 73 0726 Ireland Helpline 1800 409 119 VC73410MUK Rev2_Instruction Booklet 11 03 2011 4 Page 5 DUAL FUNCTIONALITY Your vacuum cleaner can easily be configured into two different cleaning modes e Upright vacuum EN for floors and carpets e Lift Away canister E which can be carried with you whilst cleaning hard to reach places E You can carry your vacuum cleaner in both modes by the carry handle located on top of the dust canister UPRIGHT VACUUMING Assembl 1 Place the motorised floor brush nozzle TN on a level surface and align the floor brush nozzle tube with the tube on the Lift Away canister and lower until you hear the two pieces click into place iq NOTE The motorised floor brush nozzle must be fully locked in place to ensure the electrical connection is made 2 Attach the end of the extension tube to the tube on the back of the Lift Away canister until it clicks in to place 6 U N A ANY 3 Slide the accessory holder in to position opposite the upper cord wrap over the extension tube Align the tab and groove and push down e 4 Store the dusting brush and the crevice tool ee on the mounts of the accessory holder 5 Push the handle onto the top of the extension tube until you hear it click into place ek 6 Insert the end of the stretch h
