Note If you do not store the station within 15 seconds MEMO disappears Repeat steps 2 4 To tune to a stored station repeatedly press and release MEM until the numbers for the desired memory location and the station appear For presets 1 5 you can press number key 1 5 to recall the stored station 7 Last station memory function The frequency of the last station tuned to before switching off the unit will be stored in the memory When the unit is switched on again it will receive this station in the respective waveband When changing the waveband the last station tuned to in each waveband will also be stored in the memory Setting the sleep function Repeatedly press POWER SLEEP twice for 2 seconds until the sleep icon px and sleep time 10 appears The radio turns on To increase the sleep time repeatedly press the POWER SLEEP button each time you press POWER SLEEP the sleep time is increased by 10 minutes The minimum sleep time you can have is 10 minutes the maximum sleep time you can have is 90 minutes Notes If you don t press any key for 15 seconds the sleep timer is stored automatically and returns to the original display It will not display the SLEEP time If the clock reaches a preset alarm time while the sleep timer is counting down the alarm cancels the balance of the sleep timer setting When the sleep time has elapsed the radio will turn off automatically Cancel sleep by pressing SN

IVE SOCKET OUTLET Should the fuse in the 13 amp plug require changing a 3 amp BS1362 fuse must be fitted Battery back up facility battery not included Unit will work without a battery being fitted Your clock radio is equipped with a battery back up facility 1 Remove the battery compartment cover underneath the unit by pushing in the clip and lifting off 2 Insert a battery size 9 volts PP3 6LR61 Ensure battery is inserted correctly 3 Replace the battery compartment cover Should a power interruption occur the clock will continue to run however time keeping will not be accurate The time will be displayed but the backlight will be extinguished to conserve battery life The memory will retain details of the clock time and alarm settings If the optional battery is not installed in case of the AC power failure the clock will start working at 12 00 when power is restored You will need to reset the clock and alarm settings Battery back up is designed to operate for a short period only If the unit is not to be used for a prolonged period remove the battery to avoid battery leakage In the interests of environmental safety dispose of batteries safely Auto dimmer sensor The unit has an automatic dimmer sensor The clock display will dim automatically depending upon the darkness Switching on and setting the clock time Before any alarm functions can be used you must set the clock to the correct time 1 Place the uni

5. arm will sound again at the next preset alarm time 2 To cancel the alarm permanently press the MODE button 3 times then press the DISPLAY button until the icons disappear Repeat for alarm 2 if necessary Radio operation To obtain maximum FM reception fully extend the wire FM aerial which is located at the rear of the unit and alter the direction of the wire for best results The aerial for the MW waveband is located inside the unit To obtain maximum MW reception rotate the clock radio Press the POWER SLEEP button Adjust the VOLUME control to a suitable level Press the BAND button to either MW or FM as desired Press UP or DOWN buttons to select the desired station Hold UP or DOWN for about 1 second The radio automatically tunes to the next higher or lower station with a strong signal 5 To switch off the radio press the POWER SLEEP button Notes If no strong signal is found press the UP or DOWN buttons to stop tuning hwnd Using the memory You can store up to 20 stations in memory MW x 10 FM x 10 Follow these steps to store a station into memory 1 Tune to the band and station you want to store 2 Hold MEM until MEMO flashes 3 Within 15 seconds press buttons 1 5 on the display for the desired memory location You can also repeatedly press UP or DOWN buttons until the number 0 9 in each band for the desired memory location appears 4 Press MEM again to store the station in the memory location
