9. m Remove the cover Now the soft close mechanism and the appliance are no longer connected m Remove the panel m Push the shock absorber arm as far as possible towards the handle side m Loosen the three screws on the soft close mechanism and the spacer m In the middle pry out the housing with the soft close mechanism using a flathead screwdriver m Then pry the housing with the soft close mechanism out of the retainer from the appliance side m Lay the soft close mechanism aside m Push out the spacer towards the hinge side m Lay the spacer aside 58 m Loosen the cover by carefully sliding a flathead screwdriver from below into the recess Remove the cover together with the mounting bracket Loosen the mounting bracket from the cover by pushing it slightly to the left and then removing the cover plate towards the front m Turn the mounting bracket 180 Place the cover 8 onto the front of the mounting bracket and push it to the right The writing must be visible Unscrew the bearing 49 mechanism turn it 180 and replace it on the opposite side If necessary pre punch the screw holes Remove the top cover 4d by pushing it from back to front and lifting it up m Remove the cover 2 upwards Changing the door hinging Caution The top door of the appliance is no longer secured as soon as the hinge bracket is

11. stainless steel surfaces use a suitable stainless steel cleaner available through Miele Customer Service Make sure that no water gets into the electronics or into the lighting Do not let any cleaning water get into the condensate drain hole Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance Steam could reach the electrical components and cause a short circuit Never remove the data plate inside the appliance It contains important information that is required in the event of a service call Before cleaning m Switch the appliance off then unplug it from the socket m Take any food out of the appliance and store it in a cool place m Take out any removable parts so that they can be cleaned m To clean the serving shelves in the door remove the hanging containers from the stainless steel frames Cleaning the outside walls the interior and accessories Use lukewarm water with some mild dish liquid The parts should all be cleaned by hand Clean the appliance at least once a month Clean the condensate channel and drain hole more frequently using a cotton swab for instance so that condensate can drain away unobstructed After washing wipe the outside walls the interior and accessories with clear water then dry with a soft cloth Leave the appliance doors open for a short while Use a special product to clean the stainless steel surfaces After each cleaning wipe the stainless steel surface
12. that when the door is closed the mounting plate is aligned with the outside wall of the appliance If this alignment is off you can correct it by m turning both of the pre mounted set screws with a wrench until the mounting plate is at the correct angle m Tighten all 4 screws m From the appliance side slide the sidebar onto the guide for the mounting plate until it audibly engages Make sure that the sidebar does not come in contact with the door seal when the door is opened This would damage the door seal over time If you see that the sidebar is coming into contact with the door seal m adjust the mounting plate again using the set screws until the mounting plate and the sidebar are at the correct angle and the sidebar no longer touches the seal when the door is opened 65 Aligning the appliance doors The appliance doors can be aligned with the appliance housing afterwards In the following figure the appliance door is not closed so that the individual steps can be seen more clearly Align the bottom door in the bottom hinge bracket via the outer elongated holes m Remove the middle screw from the hinge bracket m Loosen the two outer screws slightly m Align the appliance door by moving the hinge bracket to the right or left m Tighten the screws the screw does not need to be screwed on again 66 Align the top door via the elongated holes

14. the rear half of the glass shelf up slightly m With the rear half pushed up lift the front half of the glass shelf slightly then slide it carefully under the rear half 28 To move the split shelf m remove the two halves of the glass plate and m place the two support rails left and right on the support ribs at the desired height m slide the glass shelves in one after the other The glass shelf with the limit stop must be placed at the back Fruit and vegetable drawers on rollers The fruit and vegetable drawers are mounted on rollers and can be pulled out for loading and unloading The roller plates can be removed for cleaning Adjusting the interior fittings Moving the serving shelf bottle shelf m Lift the hanging container up and out of the stainless steel support frame m Push the stainless steel support frame up and remove it by pulling it forward m Replace the stainless steel support frame at the desired location Make sure that it is securely pushed back into position m Place the hanging container into the stainless steel frame The hanging containers can be removed from the serving shelves for loading and unloading and then replaced The hanging containers with the food can be placed directly on the table for serving Universal box Food can be stored as well as served in the universal box The universal box consists of a deep container and a shallow c
