4. m Pull the drawer straight out so that it passes over the catches and remove m To replace the drawer slide it straight in along the rails 24 SmartFresh drawer These drawers are set on telescopic tracks They can be pulled in and out for loading and unloading or removed for cleaning Mam y m Open the drawer On the hinged side of the door is a safety lock which must be turned to a horizontal position before the drawer can be removed m Using a suitable object e g coin turn the safety lock to a horizontal position m On both sides of the drawer pull the latches 2 upward and lift the drawer out of the refrigerator Push the tracks back into the refrigerator to avoid injury Adjusting the interior fittings The divider in the drawer can also be removed for cleaning m Remove the drawer m Lift the divider upward and out To re insert the divider slide it back down along the tracks Important If the divider is not in place the SmartFresh drawer will not work properly Replacing the SmartFresh drawer m Completely extend the telescopic tracks m Lay the drawer on the tracks so that it connects in the front and back m Turn the safety lock back to the vertical position m Slide the drawer in 25 Adjusting the interior fittings Adjusting the door shelves Removing the hinged door shelf For easier loading unloading and m Pull the stops upward and out of

16. can only be attained when the food is stored unpacked so air can circulate freely Using the refrigerator efficiently Different storage zones Due to the natural circulation of air in the appliance there are different temperature zones in the refrigerator Cold heavy air sinks to the lowest section of the appliance Make use of these different zones when placing food in the appliance This appliance uses a dynamic cooling feature to establish a constant temperature during cooling As a result the differences between temperature zones are less pronounced Leave some space between items so air can circulate freely around them Make sure the ventilation slits are not covered this is important for the cooling performance Warmest area The warmest area is in the top section of the door storage shelf Use this area to store items such as butter and cheese 18 Coldest area The coldest area in the refrigerator is directly above the SmartFresh drawers The temperature in the drawers themselves is even colder Use these cold areas in the refrigerator for all highly perishable foods such as fish meat poultry deli meats store bought meals dishes or baked goods containing eggs or cream fresh bread dough pastry dough cake batters dairy products If storing high proof alcohol make sure it is tightly closed and stored upright Do not store cooking oil in the refrigerat
