4. ding 3 prong grounded plug PARTS AND FEATURES Handles Tempered Glass Lid Temperature Control Drip Tray Insertion Slot SPECIFICATIONS e Voltage Rating 120V 60 Hz e Power Rating 1300 Watts e Cooking Surface 14 Diameter BEFORE USE 1 Carefully unpack the Grill making sure that all packaging materials are removed 2 Wash the Grill pan outer housing drip tray and lid in warm soapy water rinse and allow to dry thoroughly to remove any dust that may have accumulated during packaging 3 Do use harsh or abrasive cleansers 4 Spread 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil with a soft cloth or paper towel over cooking surface to condition the nonstick surface 5 Turn the temperature Low 6 When the Grill has reached its temperature turn off the unit and allow it to cool completely CAUTION Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners on any part or parts of the Grill Do not allow temperature control probe or plug to contact water or other liquids OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION Touch only the outer portion of the lid handle The Knob on the Lid 1 Position the knob over the hole on the lid 2 Place plastic washer on the screw and tightly screw through the hole on the bottom side of the lid 3 Periodically make sure that the screw is tight The Grill Pan 1 Place Grill pan into the housing making sure that the power receptacle fits into the opening on the outer housing 2 Push the Gr
5. electrical outlet with a wet hand Do not place the base or power cord of this product in or expose to water or other liquids The cover must be securely locked and in place before operating the appliance Never under any circumstances try to remove or force open the cover while the appliance is operating Stand the appliance on a surface that is flat stable and heat resistant Do not touch hot surfaces Use handles or knobs and use protective oven mitts or gloves Use only heat resistant wooden or plastic utensils to add or remove food Do not place the product on or near a hot gas or electric burner or inside or on top of a heated or microwave oven Never use the appliance near hot surfaces Keep at least 4 to 6 inches of open space on all sides in well ventilated area Take proper precautions to prevent the risk of burns fire or other personal or property damage This appliance generates heat and or steam during use Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut power cord or plug if wires are exposed if it malfunctions if it is dropped or damaged or if the motor housing is dropped in or exposed to water This product has no user serviceable parts Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself Only qualified service personnel should perform any servicing Notes on the cord plu
6. en the lid and place the food on the Grill pan by using heat resistant non metal utensils Close the lid 9 When the food is cooked as desired lift the lid and remove the food with cooking appropriate cooking utensils Close the lid to preserve heat when cooking more food NOTES Cooking times for meat poultry or fish will vary according to its size and thickness Make sure meat poultry or fish is cooked thoroughly by using an instant read cooking thermometer not included Food containing fat may smoke when cooked Position the Grill near an exhaust fan while using the appliance 10 When cooking is complete unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet CAUTION Wait until the Grill cools completely before moving the appliance or removing the drip tray for cleaning 11 Clean as directed in CARE AND MAINTENANCE CARE AND MAINTENANCE WARNING Always make sure the grill is unplugged from the electrical outlet and completely cool the appliance before relocating adding or removing parts or cleaning the appliance CAUTION Do not use abrasive cleaners or sponge on the grill 1 Clean the grill pan and the Grease tray after each use 2 Remove the grease tray and dispose contents Place the drip tray on the top rack of a dishwasher or hand wash in warm soapy water 3 Clean the grill pan and exterior surfaces by wiping them with a water dampened sponge or cloth Make sure grill pan holes leading to the drip tray are cle
