READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE INSTRUCTION SHEET NO This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local f f a regulations To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations check with your local electrical 8 2 76 inspector before installation To preventelectrical shock turn off electricity atfuse box before proceeding 2 Retain these instructions for maintenance reference 0892 Page 1 of 2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING LINEAR ADAPTER TO LYTESPAN TRACK FOR USE WITH LYTESPAN BASIC OR ADVENT TRACK SYSTEM ONLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING LINEAR TO SINGLE CIRCUIT TRACK SYSTEMS 1 Insert into LYTESPAN TRACK see Fig 1 LOCKING LEVER must be on the same side of track as BEAD 2 Rotate FITTING 90 clockwise until LOCKING LEVER snaps and locks in place see Fig 2 and 3 3 To remove depress LOCKING LEVER then rotate FITTING 90 counterclockwise BEAD LOCKING INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONVERTING FITTING TO OPERATE ON 2 BRASS CONTACT CIRCUIT TRACK SYSTEMS See Fig 4 BRASS CONTACT can be raised or lowered Broken line indicates position for 1 circuit or lower circuit of 2 circuit track system To convert attachment FITTING for upper circuit of 2 circuit track raise BRASS CONTACT to high position by lifting CONTACT as high as stop permits and CONTACT clicks into place SEE BACK FOR LAMPING CS I 1T CD DLE IR horrea auesec canana INS2. TRUCTION SHEET NO IS 8276 0892 Page 2 of 2 OPERATION 1 AIMING ADJUSTMENTS Simply rotate LYTESPOT to the desired position as indicated in Fig 1 1 LAMPING To prevent electrical shock turn off power to track Pull louver straight out with both hands To remove lamp swing lamp from the end until it snaps out of holding clip then pull sideways until it detaches from the lamp socket see Fig 2 Install new lamp Replace louver by lining up locking tabs to the inside edge of fixture s opening then push louver until it snaps in position See list below for selection of appropriate lamp PROD 12 8276 Twin Tube 18W 14 8277 Twin Tube 27W
