INSTRUCTION SHEET NO IS 6582 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING AND INSTALLING FIXTURE IS READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local or federal code specifications To prevent electrical shock turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding Retain these instructions for maintenance reference CAUTION FOR WET LOCATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH UNDERWRITERS ay oe LABORATORIES REQUIREMENTS A LINE OF CAULKING COMPOUND SUCH AS ACRYLIC KNOBS ee LATEX OR BUTYL MUST BE PLACED AROUND EW THE BACK OF THE FIXTURE AROUND THE HOUSING CROSSBAR GASKET IN ORDER TO SEAL OUT WATER m WIRE NUTS OUTLET Disassemble fixture by removing LATCH SCREW l visible at bottom HOUSING hinges up for A removal See Fig 2 Attach CROSSBAR to OUTLET BOX with BOX SCREWS Make connections Black fixture lead or fixture lead without tracer mark to black supply lead white fixture lead or fixture lead with tracer mark to white supply lead Attach bare GROUND WIRE yD GROUND WIRE to outlet box grounding screw or to other system round Use WIRE NUTS local hardware item a GASKET lace connections in OUTLET BOX See Fig 1 Secure FIXTURE BODY to OUTLET BOX by placing FIXTURE BODY over NIPPLE and threading KNOB tight against FIXTURE BODY See Fig 1 FIXTURE must be mounted so that SOCKET is at bottom of FI2. XTURE Mount diffuser HOUSING to FIXTURE BODY by tilting HOUSING to engage LUG into SLOT of FIXTURE BODY Swing HOUSING into position seating against GASKET See Fig 2 Press HOUSING into alignment against GASKET and secure with LATCH SCREW See Fig 2 NOTE Mount with LATCH SCREW NOTE Allen head set screw supplied in parts bag can be used to make fixture tamper resistant by replacing LATCH SCREW in fixture CAUTION MAXIMUM WATTAGE AS MARKED ON FIXTURE MUST NOT BE EXCEEDED HOUSING LATCH SCREW a i ics i i TOI i j j SECAUCUS NEW JERSEY 07094 0508 wE ma maa MONTREAL QUEBEC CANADA
