1. RETAINING SPRING a ay LAMPHOLDER SPRING STEP 4 Remove WING NUTS then separate UPPER HOUSING from top AL of LOWER HOUSING to access BALLAST PLATE ASSEMBLY er Ti carne i SOCKET ASSEMBLY STEP 5 Turn SCREW at SUPPORT BRACKET counterclockwise to loosen SUPPORT BRACKET Repeat with other 2 screws Carefully remove Fs REFLECTOR BALLAST PLATE ASSEMBLY from UPPER HOUSING e STEP 6 Replace BALLAST capacitor and ignitor magnetic type ballast STEP 7 Reattach BALLAST PLATE ASSEMBLY to UPPER HOUSING by tightening SCREWS until SUPPORT BRACKET locks onto UPPER HOUSING Repeat with other 2 screws STEP 9 Align STUDS with holes in LOWER HOUSING then firmly tighten y g with WING NUTS FIG 5 STEP 10 Reinstall REFLECTOR For additional instructions if needed see Reflector Trim Instruction Sheet R SCREWS UPPER HOUSING SUPPORT gt BRACKETS Ss l BALLAST PLATE ASSEMBLY STUDS WING NUTS LOWER HOUSING RETAINING SPRING LAMPHOLDER SPRING FIG 6 LICSIA TOOL EER 6 Airport Road Fan River MA 027202. 0 BOLTS provided CHAULKING I CLEAT STEP 4 Make Connections Bare Copper and or green insulation wire s must be connected to SUPPLY GROUND Connect WHITE BALLAST LEAD to NEUTRAL WHITE SUPPLY LEAD Connect BLACK BALLAST LEAD to HOT SUPPLY LEAD Use wire nuts local hardware items STEP 5 Install SET SCREWS loosely Push excess supply leads back into outlet box Place cylinder over CLEAT and tighten 2 SET SCREWS be 5 SET SCREWS INSTALLATION OF WALL CYLINDER TO POST OR OTHER VERTICAL SURFACE MOUNTING Fig 2 3 amp 4 FIG 3 1 CLEAT can also be mounted directly to any flat surface such as MULLION In this case use of CANOPY is optional Bring supply leads through CLEAT and install CLEAT to wall For wet locations in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories requirements a line of Paces caulking compound such as acrylic or silicone must be placed around j the perimeter of EXTRUDED ARM to seal water away from the wireway and back openings 2 Proceed with Step 4 and 5 above INSTALLATION OF REFLECTOR TRIM TO CYLINDER Fig 4 Ai Follow installation instructions in Reflector Trim Instruction Sheet _ T 2 i REFLECT
