8. at least 18 hours after each use Never charge the battery longer than 30 hours Failure to follow these instructions may damage your battery and will void your warranty e Lift the seat to access the battery compartment 2 e Place the battery upright in the battery compartment Make sure the battery connector extends towards the rear of the vehicle e Make sure a Power Wheels 25 amp fuse in good condition is installed in the battery 3 e Insert the ends of the battery retainer into the holes in the battery compartment _ Baffery Connector Battery Installation 9 SSSI 8 x 7 s Screw 1 Shown Actual Size l e Lower the battery retainer over the top of the battery e Insert a 8 x s screw through the battery retainer and into the battery compartment 5 e Squeeze the tabs on each side of the motor harness connector e Plug the battery connector into the motor harness connector Please Note If the battery connector will not plug into the motor harness connector turn it over and try again Do not force the battery connector into the motor harness connector Battery Installation 6 e Lower the seat Note Make sure the tabs on the lock fastener are aligned with the notches in the lock fastener opening Z e Rotate the lock fastener 4 turn using a slotted screwdriver to lock the battery compartment e To make sure the lock fastener
9. into the slots in the fairing e Press firmly to snap the headlight lens into the fairing e Repeat this procedure to assemble the right headlight lens marked R to the fairing Assembly 22 e Snap the gas cap into the vehicle body 23 e Insert the tabs on the front of the seat into the vehicle body e Lower the seat 24 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best e Wash your hands before applying the labels e Make sure the areas where the labels will be applied are clean and dry Wipe your vehicle with a clean soft dry cloth to remove any dust or oils e For best results avoid applying a label more than once e Apply the labels as shown in the illustrations e After applying a label rub the label firmly with a dry cloth to make sure the label is adhered to your vehicle One time assembly is now complete Important Note Please carefully read the owner s information in this manual and teach your child about proper vehicle operation and rules for safe driving before amp allowing him to drive this vehicle Battery Installation Important Note Use only a Power Wheels Type H 6 volt battery with a Power Wheels 25 amp fuse installed Use of any other battery or fuse will damage your vehicle Make sure that you charge the battery for at least 18 hours before operating your vehicle for the first time After first time use charge the battery for
