4. place 3 Slip the blade into place 4 Move the rip guide fence to the left or right until you reach the desired measurement on the rip guide s width scale ADJUSTING BLADE CUTTING DEPTH ADJUST BLADE CUTTING DEPTH 1 Unplug the power cord 2 Hold the saw firmly and pull the lock lever up 3 Raise or lower the base to the desired cutting depth Make sure the teeth protrude at least 1 4 through the bottom of the workpiece 4 Push the lever down to lock the base into position OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING Always unplug the tool before attempting to change the blade or accessories OPERATING THE TRIGGER SWITCH WARNING Never tape the trigger switch down to provide continuous high speed The tool may fail under such conditions causing fire or personal injury The lock off button helps prevent accidental starting This button can be pressed from either side THIS TOOL IS CONTROLLED BY A TRIGGER SWITCH The speed of the Circular Saw depends on the amount of pressure applied on the trigger The further the trigger is pressed the faster the tool will go Press the lock off button then pull the ON OFF trigger to turn the Circular Saw ON To turn the Circular Saw OFF release the trigger switch The lock off button will automatically reset 15 GENERAL CUTTING 4 WARNING Always hold the saw in front of you and away from your body Keep

6. your hands and feet well away from the work piece Never feed the blade into the work piece until the blade is at full speed If the blade is not at full speed the saw may kick back causing serious personal injury NOTE Do not force the saw Excessive force may result in a broken blade Use only enough pressure to keep the saw moving through the work piece Put on eye protection Clear the saw of any foreign material Make sure the work piece is held securely in place Hold smaller pieces in a vise or attach to the workbench with clamps Mark out the line to be cut so it is easily visible Check the lower guard for damage If damaged do not use tool Always use the right blade for the material Make sure all bolts screws and locking levers are secure before starting tool Pull the trigger to start the saw Set the shoe against the work piece When the blade reaches full speed slowly feed the blade into the work piece When the blade starts cutting release the blade guard A CAUTION To reduce risk of damage to the tool or blade do not exceed the feed rate and maximum cut time for materials thicker than 1 4 Cutting too fast or too long in heavy material will damage the tool if the tool if the tool is not allowed to cool Cutting too slowly will cause excessive wear on the blade 16 This tool is intended for cutting unhardened ferrous metal and non ferrous metal The

Y Express and Exclusive Limited Warranty to Original Retail Buyer Alltrade Tools LLC hereinafter Alltrade expressly warrants to the original retail purchaser of the accompanying KAWASAKI power tool and no one else all parts of the product except those parts referred to below which are specifically exclud ed from such warranty see Exclusions to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from original date of purchase except that such warranty with regard to the battery shall be for a period of two years from original date of purchase unless the tool is used for commercial or rental purposes SPECIAL WARRANTY NOTE FOR COMMERCIAL OR RENTAL USE The above warranty for this Kawasaki power tool including the battery shall be effective for only 90 days from the original date of purchase if this tool is used for any COMMERCIAL OR RENTAL PURPOSE The date of purchase shall be the date of shipment to the original purchaser or the date the original purchaser took possession custody or control of the product whichever occurred first This warranty shall be null and void if the product or any component thereof is modified or altered This warranty does not apply to any other product and or component thereof manufactured or distributed by Alltrade and does not apply to products and or components thereof designed manufactured and or assembled by others for which Alltrade makes no warranties whatsoever T

16. be cut out Set the shoe against the work piece at an angle e Lift the blade guard Pull the trigger to start the saw When the blade reaches full speed slowly feed the blade into the work piece When the blade starts cutting release the blade guard MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING This Metal Cutting Circular Saw is lubricated before it leaves the factory This lubrication should last for the life of the tool No fur t h ubrication is required Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the tool Never let any liquid get inside the casing Never immerse any part of the tool in a liquid Always keep the ventilation openings clear Regularly clean the ventilation slots in your tool and charger using only a soft brush or dry cloth Inspect all mounting screws regularly Tighten any loose screws Failure to keep the mounting screws tight could result in serious injuries Never open the Metal Cutting Circular Saw case Do not attempt to repair the Circular Saw yourself Opening the tool will void your warranty BRUSH REPLACEMENT The brushes are a wearing component of the tool and should be replaced prior to the carbon wearing out fully When the carbon brushes wear out the tool will spark and or stop and therefore need to be replaced 18 Always replace both brushes at the same time ACCESSORIES Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model Accessories

19. f the work piece toward the operator When the blade is pinched or bound tightly by the kerf closing down the blade Stalls and the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back toward the operator If the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut the teeth at the back edge of the blade can dig into the top surface of the metal causing the blade to climb out of the kerf and jump back toward the operator Kickback is the result of tool misuse and or incorrect operating procedures or conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below Maintain a firm grip on the saw and position your body and arm in a way that allows you to resist KICKBACK forces KICKBACK forces can be controlled by the operator if proper precautions are taken When blade is binding or when interrupting a cut for any reason release the trigger and hold the saw motionless in the material until the blade comes to a complete stop Never attempt to remove the saw from the work or pull the saw backward while the blade is in motion or KICKBACK may occur d d aLe d FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION When restarting a saw in the work piece center the saw blade in the kerf and check that teeth are not engaged into the material If saw blade is binding it may walk up or KICKBACK from the work piece as the saw is restarted Support large panels to minimize the risk of blade pinching and KICKBACK Large panels tend to sag under
