5. to set the source The source name alternates between CD and TUNER 7 Press the CD TUNER TIMER button The current volume level blinks 8 Turn the Jog dial to set the volume level The volume level changes between VOL 1 and VOL 31 9 Press the CD TUNER TIMER button The CD Tuner timer is set and the Timer 1 indicator TIMER1 remains lit 10 Prepare the music source according to the source set in step 6 CD Load a CD TUNER Tune to a station you want to listen to 11 Turn off the Unit Standby mode e When the set time comes the Unit automatically turns on and plays the source During this time the Timer 1 indicator TIMER blinks To cancel the timer press the CD TUNER TIMER button to turn off the Timer 1 indicator TIMER1 To reactivate the timer repeatedly press the CD TUNER TIM ER button until the Timer 1 indicator E TIMER1 remains lit again To confirm the timer settings repeatedly press the CD TUN ER TIMER button To change the timer settings repeat the setting procedure from the beginning Setting the Alarm Timer The Alarm timer alarm clock is turned on at the set time to wake you up Alarm tone fades in and 2 minutes later it s frequency be comes higher The alarm tone continues for 15 minutes and then au tomatically stops Note e Perform each setting step within 30 seconds Otherwise setting is cleared and the procedure must be repeated from the beg

14. el Repeat Play mode Using the Timers SNOOZE DIMMER RD T7GN Only The timers let you control listening a music source as well as an alarm tone Three types of timers are available CD Tuner Timer TIMER1 Use this timer to wake you up to music from a CD or tuner Alarm Timer TIMER2 Use this timer as an alarm clock Sleep Timer Use this timer to fall asleep to music Your System turns off auto matically after a certain length of time CAUTION If memory backup batteries are ex hausted or not installed and the AC power cord is disconnected or there is a power failure time set tings will be erased from memory in approx half a day Then the display blinks 0 00 If this hap pens set the current time clock and perform the timer setting again Setting the Clock When the Unit is operated on AC power or batteries for the first time the time indication 0 00 will blink on the display and you need to set the clock You can set the clock whether the Unit is turned on or off Standby if the AC power is supplied to the Unit Notes e The clock must be correctly set for the timer to work e The clock may gain or lose 1 to 2 minutes per month e Perform each setting step within 30 seconds Otherwise setting is cleared and the procedure must be repeated from the beginning MULTIJOG MULTIJOG CLOCK VOLUME CLOCK VOLUME CLOCK DISPLAY P S4 DIS
