ON Activates demonstration mode and shows various features on the display Demonstration starts in the following cases e When the menu screen is closed after DEMO MODE is set to ON e With DEMO MODE set to ON if there is no operation for about 3 minutes after the power switch is set to 9 e Performing any operation during the demonstration stops the demonstration temporarily If no operation is performed for more than 3 minutes after that the demonstration will resume NOTES e Demonstration only works with DC cord connected not with battery e f an SD card is in the camera demonstration will not take place even if it is set to ON e DEMO MODE remains ON even if the camera power is turned off SOUND OFF Turns off operation sound BEEP The beep sounds when the power is turned on or off and at the beginning and end of recording MELODY Instead of a beep a melody sounds when any operation is performed REMOTE OFF Makes the camera not to receive the signal from the remote control ON Enables the operation with the remote control DROP DETECTION OFF Disables the function ON Turns off the power automatically to prevent HDD damage when the camera is accidentally dropped lt pg 21 CAUTION Setting this function to off increases the chances of damaging the internal hard disk if the camera is accidentally dropped ef REC MEDIA SETTING VIDEO MODE Media selectio

15. power supply when cleaning up a recording medium lt pg 16 e t is recommended to run check disk regularly on the PC on condition that there is no data on the hard disk of the camera Set the power switch to gt or e 2 Press MENU The menu screen appears 3 Press A v to select REC MEDIA SETTING then press 1l 4 Press A V to select CLEAN UP then press PI 5 Press A v to select HDD or SD then press P II e f the AC adapter is not connected to the camera a warning message appears In this case connect the AC adapter 6 Press A to select EXECUTE then press P I e To cancel cleanup select CANCEL then press Pil 7 When cleanup is finished CLEANING UP COMPLETED appears Press P II to complete the operation e Depending on the hard disk drive it may take several minutes for this process to be completed CAUTION Do not remove the recording medium or perform any other operation such as turning off the power during cleanup Copying Moving Still Image Files You can copy or move still image files between the built in hard disk HDD and SD card using the on screen display Before proceeding to following steps e Make sure that SD card is inserted in the SD slot e Make sure that enough free space is left in the copy move destination medium Set the power switch to gt or Le 2 Press MENU The menu screen appears 3 Press A v to select REC MEDIA SETTING then
