10. nected before handling the battery pack Do not touch the contacts on the battery pack or on the 17910 e Remove the battery pack e Unlock the SIM connector by sliding the metallic latch in the direction of the OPEN arrow e Lift the SIM cover upward and insert the SIM card e Swing the cover down and slide the latch into locked position the LOCK arrow e Put the battery back in the 17910 handheld To remove SIM card remove battery unlock the SIM connector lift the cover and remove the card Charging the Battery The 17910 comes with rechargeable lithium ion battery Only use the battery supplied with your terminal Make sure that 17910 is turned off and that power supply is disconnected before handling the battery pack Do not touch the contacts on the battery pack or on the 17910 Do not remove battery from 17910 unless installing or removing SIM card Always charge battery at temperatures between 0 and 45 C It is important to perform the full battery charge before using 1 910 for the first time charge the battery without interruptions until 17910 terminal indicates the end of charging process no moving bars on the battery status icon To prolong battery life Avoid frequent full discharges Shallow partial discharges and often charges are preferred Full discharge and charge is recommended after every 30 40 short charge discharge cycles Protect batteries from high temperatures for example avoid l
