6. 256635 368 A 5000280 306 90020 30062 _ 308 Siemens Electrical Products and Systems CSI Section 16160 Specification Guide AC Controls Pilot Device Units Pilot Device Units and Indicator Lights Type 3SBO Pilot Device Options 3SBO pilot devices are built by Siemens in two basic forms 1 as assembled for the most frequently used configurations or 2 as subassemblies for greater flexibility Application 3SBO devices are heavy duty oiltight watertight and dusttight NEMA Type 4 4X 13 IP65 They are used in industrial control circuits at 600V or less 3SBO pilot devices are available in two diame ters 8 and 1 13 64 22 and 30 mm 7 8 22 mm Mounting The operator is inserted into the hole in the panel from the front and twisted into the contact block holder The unit is then fixed from behind by means of two set screws which are located in the contact block holder preventing the unit from working loose or twisting 1 13 64 30 mm Mounting The holder is an integral part of the actu ator it is inserted into the hole in the panel from the rear and secured from the front by means of a front ring With the use of a legend plate or the thrust and trim washers the unit becomes station ary and will not twist or work loose CSI Section 16160 Front Rings Both units are supplied as standard with metal chrome plated front rings Black plastic or a
