1. CARE AND CLEANING TO CLEAN THE INTERI OR AND THE EXTERIOR OF THE COMPACT REFRI GERATOR Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning Do not use a hard brush or sponge Use light soapy water with a soft cloth To dry use a dry soft cloth or towel To prevent odors from forming in the refrigerator place an opened box of baking soda inside Replace the box every three months DEFROSTI NG THE COMPACT REFRI GERATOR Unplug the refrigerator Once the frost melts carefully wipe down the outside or inside of the refrigerator When dry plug back in the refrigerator NOTE DO NOT USE A HEATER OR ANY SHARP UNTENSI L TO REMOVE FROST IN THE EVENT OF A POWER FAI LURE In the event of a power failure do not open the refrigerator door frequently A slight and gradual increase in temperature could have an effect on the preservation of food KEEPI NG THE I NTERI OR OF THE REFRI GERATOR VENTI LATED In order to keep the refrigerator proper ventilated and cool here are some helpful hints to follow Do not overload your refrigerator If too many goods are stored in the refrigerator the interior circulation could be obstructed Do not open the door too frequently or keep the door open for long periods This will cause the internal temperature to increase Make sure that all sides of the refrigerator are properly ventilated see installation instructions on page 6 PREPARI NG THE COMPACT REFRI GERATOR F

The compact refrigerator must be grounded In the event of an electrical short circuit grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and Three pronged grounding plug Ed grounded If the outlet is a standard 2 Ray hah GER prong wall outlet it is your personal f Ry responsibility and obligation to have it a replaced with a properly grounded 3 prong Properly polarized and wall outlet Do not under any grounded outlet circumstances cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord WARNI NG I mproper use of grounding can result in a risk of electric shock Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded and either 1 If it is necessary to use an extension cord use only a 3 wire extension cord that has a 3 prong grounding plug and a 3 slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance The marked electrical rating of the extension cord shall be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance or 2 If the power supply cord is too short have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the appliance PRODUCT DIAGRAM 1 Freezer Compartment
4. sure the frozen products are in contact with the walls of the freezer compartment This allows for maximum freezing capabilities When making ice cubes or storing frozen food turn the temperature adjuster to the 5 or 6 position but please be aware that by doing so the refrigerator compartment will get colder CHANGI NG THE REVERSI BLE DOOR The refrigerator has been built with the door hinges on the right If you wish to change the opening direction follow these instructions NOTE UNPLUG THE REFRI GERATOR FROM THE ELECTRI CAL OUTLET PRI OR TO CHANGI NG THE REVERSI BLE DOOR 1 Empty everything in the refrigerator including shelves and food 2 First remove the upper and lower hinge covers on the left and right side by hand 3 Remove the six screws using a Phillips screwdriver that are on the top and bottom of the cabinet M lis 4 Remove the upper and lower hinges and lift Y the door and place it on a padded surface to e prevent scratches 4A All parts removed must be retained to reinstall the door 5 Transfer the hinges and screws to the left place the upper hinge pin into the upper hole of the door then tighten the three screws on the top then the other three on the bottom Put the flat hinge cover over the hinge holes on the left 6 Open the door carefully and slowly to make sure the door is correctly attached and closing properly JF M

ON THE POWER Plug the compact refrigerator into a suitable 120V three prong power outlet The refrigerator will begin operating even if the temperature adjuster is set in the off O position See Important Grounding I nstructions on page 4 STARTI NG After the compact refrigerator is plugged into the proper outlet turn the internal temperature adjuster dial to the desired setting and close the door Let the refrigerator cool for 24 hours before storing food CONTROLLI NG THE TEMPERATURE AND STORI NG FOOD THERMOSTAT The internal temperature of the compact refrigerator is controlled by the temperature adjuster located in the upper right hand corner inside the refrigerator Turn the temperature adjustor clockwise to set the desired temperature The 1 position sets the warmest temperature and 6 position sets the coldest temperature Note By setting the temperature to the 5 or 6 position it may cause freezing depending on the ambient temperature The 6 position should be used primarily for making ice ICE TRAY AND FREEZER COMPARTMENT The ice tray compartment of the compact refrigerator is for making ice cubes with the provided ice cube tray The compartment is located directly under the freezer compartment Simply pull out the shelf and use the ice tray for making ice cubes The freezer compartment is for short term storage 3 4 days at the most for some store bought frozen foods Make
