1. About residual images e In some cases residual images may remain after the short term display of still images and another image is displayed but these will disappear and return to normalcy This is not a malfunction About the panel screen e Plasma displays display images by means of electrical discharges inside the panel Because of this the temperature of the panel surface may rise in some cases Also plasma displays are made of finely processed glass A reinforced glass filter is installed over the panel surface but avoid strong impact because there is still danger of glass breakage 31 TROUBLESHOOTING Make the checks suggested below depending on the symptoms observed If the symptoms remain uncorrected contact your dealer A N WARNING Se 32 ENGLISH If servicing can be hazardous Symptom There is no picture and the indicating lamp is off e Check to see that the power cable is properly connected e Press the main switch In RGB mode the message NO SIGNAL is No sync signal is detected displayed NO SIGNAL e Check that the signal cable is properly connected In Video mode the message NO SIGNAL is e Make sure that the computer imaging equipment etc is turned on displayed e Make sure the computer is not in power save mode There is no picture and the indicating lamp lights e Ensure that the input selection matches the connection terminal orange The message OUT OF RANGE is displa
