5. e SKU 47987 Page 3 Assembly and Operation Refer to FIGURE 1 below and the Assembly Drawing on page 5 Warning Before setting this Windmill in the ground contact your local utility company to make sure there are no buried cables or pipes in the desired location If locating the Windmill on a rooftop read and adhere to the warnings on page 3 1 Stack the Blades 3 so that they resemble the pattern in the box in FIGURE 1 making sure the fins face out toward the wind Lay number 2 over number 1 so that the holes match Then lay number 3 over number 2 so that all four holes match evenly 2 Lubricate the Bearing Assembly 4 prior to assembly using a lightweight grease 3 Using three Bolts 8 and three star Washers 10 attach the blade assembly to the Bearing Assembly 4 and secure with three Nuts 6 4 Attach the Directional Finder 2 to the Tube Frame 1 with two Self tapping Screws 5 Thread in the Bolt 9 to secure the Bearing Assembly 4 See Figure 1 5 Tap Extension Tube B into the ground Make sure it is securely in place and insert Extension Tube A onto Tube B Operation Notes 1 A rattling sound in the tube is normal 2 Justa few turns in a 24 hour period will effectively rid the area of moles 3 Keep the unit lubricated See Maintenance section below FIGURE 1 Directional Bolts Star washers 8 10 Bearing 4 Finder 2 ii 3 Tube Frame 1 H E eS Close up of matched holes
