1. Do not put too much pressure on the Light Solar Panel or accessories while cleaning Dry thoroughly 2 WARNING Make sure the Power Switch is in its Off position a Unscrew the screws holding the Battery Cover 9 in place and remove the Battery Cover from the Solar Panel 1 b Remove the old battery before performing any inspection c NiCd BATTERY MUST BE maintenance or cleaning procedures RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY 3 BEFORE EACH USE inspect the general condition of the tool Check for e leaking swollen or cracked battery Do not short incinerate or open battery d Install a new NiCd AA 300mAh loose hardware battery into the Battery e misalignment or binding of parts Compartment Check that the battery is placed according e cracked or broken parts and to the correct polarity e any other condition that may affect its safe operation 4 AFTER USE wipe external surfaces of the tool with clean cloth e Replace the cover and secure in place with the Screws Troubleshooting Light will 1 Power Switch 7 not set to On 1 Check position of Power Switch not turn on Battery not allowed time for recharging Check that Solar Panel has direct via Solar Panel access to sunlight Allow one to two days for a full charge Solar Light is set near nighttime Move Solar Light or change light Sources such as porch Solar Panel position lights or street lights Solar Pan
