G Installing applications stalling applications from a Macintosh computer On your Macintosh launch Palm Desktop From the HotSync menu choose Install Handheld Files Select the User Name that corresponds to your Treo phone from the User drop down menu Click Add To List Locate the prc or pdb file you want to install on your Treo Highlight it and click Add File Perform a HotSync operation to install the application s on your Treo etting help with third party applications If a you encounter a problem with a third party application such as an error message contact the application s author or vendor For general troubleshooting of third party applications see page 145 Removing applications If you decide that you no longer need an application or want to free up memory on your Treo you can remove applications from your Treo or an expansion card for more on expansion cards see pages 105 108 You can remove only applications patches and extensions that you install you cannot remove the built in applications that reside in the ROM portion of your Treo i Press Applications Launcher 2 Press Menu menu 3 4 If you want to remove an application from an expansion card insert the From the Options menu choose Delete D card into your Treo Choose the Delete From pick list then select the location of the application you want to remove Choose the application that you
