9. of the HAANe Pet Plus Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer why not Actually you shouldn t be able to see that much steam coming out of the unit The truth is the more steam you see when in use the less effective a floor sanitizer is because the steam should be physically directed to cleaning your floors or other horizontal hard surfaces and not escaping through other parts of the steamer QUESTION The HAANg Pet Plus is leaving my floor wet Why and what can I do about it Your cleaning pad may need to be changed For optimal performance the pad should be changed after 10 minutes of use QUESTION How long can you use a HAANg cleaning pad before it needs to be changed The pad should be changed approximately every 10 minutes or when it becomes saturated with water The machine will become harder to push smoothly on the floor when the pad is saturated QUESTION How long does a tank of water last How often do need to refill the tank A full tank will last approximately 20 minutes QUESTION Sometimes my floor sanitizer becomes hard to push why If the unit is hard to push it is likely because the cleaning pad is too wet or the angle at which you are using the machine is too high The lower the handle the easier the Floor Sanitizer is to push across the floor and if doing this does not help try replacing the pad with a dry one QUESTION Will the HAANe Pet Plus clean grout Yes but it needs a little
10. ready to use lightly press the base of the Pet Plus onto the pad As the white Carpet Tray Pad is shaped to match the bottom of the Pet Plus carefully place the base onto the pad so it is centered to the shape The specially designed bottom of the Pet Plus will grip the pad There will be no excess pad showing like there is with the larger microfiber pads Once the Carpet Tray Pad is attached to the underside of the Pet Plus place the front lip of the Pet Plus under the front clips of the Carpet Tray Fig 24 As the front clips hold onto the base lower the back of the unit down until the tray snaps into place Fig 25 The Carpet Tray Pad will fit snugly within the Carpet Tray and you will not see it from above Push and pull the Pet Plus Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer slowly across your carpet or rug to thoroughly freshen and sanitize the fibers with steam while the scent is activated by the steam Fig 26 NOTE It is necessary to use the Carpet Tray in tandem with the thin white Carpet Tray Pad in order for the unit to glide smoothly over the carpet When you have finished using the Pet Plus turn it OFF place it on the Floor Protector Resting Mat and wait until the unit cools down for about five 5 minutes before removing the tray Once the tray and pad are cooled remove the tray by placing your foot on the rear tabs of the tray Fig 27 and pulling up gently but firmly on the ergonomic pole Fi

13. 77 HAAN DIRECT 877 422 6347 Follow the instructions to attach a cleaning pad and set up the unit for use Steps 4 8 pg 8 With pad in place Fig 14 put the Pet Plus over the stain and hold it in place for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate the area of the stain Push and pull the Pet Plus slowly across the stained area to work the steam into the stain Place the Pet Plus on the Floor Protector Resting Mat turn it OFF and wait until the unit cools down approximately 5 minutes Remove the used pad Return the Pet Plus to the Resting Mat and turn the unit ON Once the Thermal Indicator has changed to orange indicating it is ready to use place a dry Ultra Microfiber Pad on the floor hook amp loop side up and press the unit onto the pad Use the pad to rub the stain area simultaneously working at the stain and blotting the moisture from the surface When you have finished using the unit turn it OFF place it on the Floor Protector Resting Mat and wait until the Pet Plus cools down before removing the Ultra Microfiber Pad from the base by placing your foot on a corner of the pad and lifting the Pet Plus off the pad Store the unit upright in a protected dry area standing it on the Floor Protector Resting Mat or hanging it by the Storage Hook Fig 15 pg 11 O0 Using Your Floor Sanitizer Operating Instructions cont How to Use the HAANe Carpet Pad with 1 2 Fig

ON Can I use the HAANg Pet Plus anywhere besides hard floors Yes You can use the Pet Plus to freshen and deodorize carpets and rugs Simply attach the special Carpet Tray and glide the Pet Plus across the carpet or rug as you normally would You may also add a few drops of HAANe STEAM SCENTS on the white Carpet Tray Pad and attach wth the Carpet Tray to add a light fragrance to your home while you steam your carpets and rugs to freshen and sanitize them 877 HAAN DIRECT 877 422 6347 pg 19 O Questions About the Floor Sanitizer As A QUESTION Why does the unit stop steaming when the red refill light comes on When the red refill light comes on the unit automatically shuts off as a safety feature QUESTION When I first used my Pet Plus the pads left water streaks on my floor why It is likely you attached your pad to the bottom of the Pet Plus Sanitizer before the unit was heated causing the pad to become wet It is best to heat the unit on the black Floor Protector Resting Mat bumpy side facing up before placing any pad on the steam head Attach the pad only after the Thermal Indicator turns orange Simply toss pad on the floor with the white hook amp loop side facing up and set the base of the Pet Plus on top of it The hook amp loop system will cause the pad to attach itself easily so you won t have to touch it NOTE When using the white Carpet Tray Pad you will need to attach t
