Troubleshooting Troubleshooting If a fault occurs please check the points listed below before taking your set for repair If you are not able to remedy a problem by following these hints consult your dealer or service facility Under no circumstances should you try to repair the set yourself as this would invalidate your guarantee Problem Possible cause e Remedy No power or no CD play start Display no indicalion Batteries Batteries incorrectly inserted insert the batteries correctly Use of new batteries e Press PLAY PAUSE Pil Batteries are empty Change recharge the batteries Contact pins are dirty e Clean them with a cloth AC power adapter Loose connection Connect the adapter securely Lid of CD player does not open HOLD feature is activated e Switch off the HOLD feature Play does not start from the first track RESUME SHUFFLE or PROGRAM is activated Switch off RESUME SHUFFLE or PROGRAM 22 Troubleshooting CD play does not start or interrupts Display no indication ERROR or NO DISC CD lid is not securely closed e Close the lid securely HOLD feature is activated Switch off the HOLD feature Moisture condensation e Leave the player in a warm place until the moisture evaporates CD is not or incorrectly inserted Insert a CD label facing up CD is badly scratched Use another CD CD is dirly e Clean the CD

To switch off this function press SHUFFLE again REPEAT 1 Press REPEAT to play repeatedly all tracks of the CD or CD program The display indicates pointing at the REPEAT logo UBS RESUME REPEAT 2 To switch off this function press REPEAT again Note SHUFFLE and REPEAT can be used simullaneously all tracks are played repeatedly in random order l Operation PROGRAM programming of tracks max 20 tracks 1 Select with PREV or NEXT gt the desired track 2 As soon as the desired track is displayed press the PROGRAM button to store the track in the memory Display indication of track number P total number of stored tracks i e POG Notes When you try to store more than 20 tracks the display indicates F UL L FULL When you press PROGRAM and there is no track selected E the display indicates SELECT 5 LLELE Playing the program f you have selected the tracks in STOP mode press the PLAY PAUSE Pit button If you have selected the tracks during CD play first press the STOP m and then the PLAY PAUSE Pit button Display indication PROGRAM Your program will be played in the selected playing mode i e shuffle Checking the settings e Press the PROGRAM button for more than 2 seconds Display indication each stored track successively flashes for a short moment li no program is stored the display shows NO PROG isi NOProb Erasin
