Additional safety rules for blowers Always wear adequate protective clothing when operating the tool to avoid injuries to face eyes hands feet head or hearing Use safety glasses or a face shield high boots or sturdy shoes long trousers work gloves a hard hat and ear defenders Do not start the tool when it is upside down or when it is not in the operating position Switch the motor off and remove the battery when the tool is not being used left unattended being cleaned being moved from one place to another Do not operate the tool near people especially children or pets Turn it off if they get too close Maintain a safe distance of at least 5m from other people when using the tool Never direct the blower tube towards bystanders or pets Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders or pets Do not handle the battery or the tool with wet hands and do not use the tool in the rain Keep all the air intakes and the blower tube free of dust lint hair and other material that may cause a reduction in air flow Keep a balanced and stable stance while using the tool Do not switch on the tool in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces or in the presence of inflammable and or explosive substances such as liquids gasses and powders Only operate the tool during broad daylight or with adequate artificial light When the tool is not in use store it in a dry place and out of reach of children After use remove the b
3. when the temperature is below 0 C or above 40 C This is important Failure to observe this safety rule could cause serious damage to the battery pack When battery pack is not in use keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips coins keys nails screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire Do not incinerate the battery pack even if it is seriously damaged or can no longer hold a charge The battery pack can explode in a fire Never attempt to open the battery pack for any reason If the plastic housing of the battery pack breaks open or cracks immediately discontinue its use and do not recharge it Under abusive conditions liquid may be ejected from the battery avoid contact If contact accidentally occurs flush with water If liquid contacts eyes additionally seek medical help Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns e The battery pack utilizes nickel cadmium cells Cadmium is considered to be a toxic matenal Use an environmentally safe disposal unit at a municipal waste disposal centre to dispose of a damaged or worn out battery Unpacking Due to modern mass production techniques it is unlikely that your power tool is faulty or that a part is missing If you find anything wrong do not operate the tool until the parts have been replaced or the fault has been rectified

Failure to do so could result in senous personal injury Know your product Before using the cordless blower familiarise yourself with all the operating features and safety requirements 1 On off tngger switch 2 Blower tube 3 Battery 4 Battery release tabs 5 Charger Fitting and removing the battery pack To remove the battery pack from the blower firmly press the battery release tabs 4 at either side of the battery pack and slide the battery backward out of the tool To install the battery pack align rails on the tool with the tabs on the battery pack and slide the battery pack on to the blower Ensure the battery pack 1s sitting straight on the foot and correctly entering the runners The battery should slide fully on to the drill foot until the battery pack clicks into position Battery charging 1 Connect charger 5 to power source The green light a should light up This indicates the charger is ready to begin charging 2 Position battery pack on charger align rails d on battery charger with e on battery pack Slide battery forward onto charger until it clicks into position 3 The red light b should begin to glow continuously indicating that the battery pack is receiving a Fast Charge 4 After approximately one hour the Fast Charge indicator red light b should go out indicating that the battery pack is fully charged and that the charger is n

11. e tool is switched off and the battery is removed before making any adjustments or maintenance procedures Slide the blower tube 2 onto the blower housing ensuring the hole in the tube matches up with the raised section in the housing Turning the blower on and off 1 Ensure the battery pack 3 is inserted 2 To switch on squeeze the trigger switch 1 3 To switch off release the trigger switch 10 Operation of the blower Hold the blower firmly and rotate from side to side holding the tube several inches above the ground Slowly move forward directing the debris to the desired location e Prior to using the blower ensure you have read and understood this instruction manual Ensure you are wearing suitable clothing and also safety equipment like safety glasses ear protection and a mask if necessary Ensure the attachments to the blower are correctly fitted and adjusted e Be aware of other people and animals in the area where you are to be operating the blower Tips for using your blower The following points may assist you in the operation of the blower e Always try and blow dry leaves cuttings or general garden debris wet matenal is difficult to move e f the leaves etc are damp then use the blower to pile the leaves etc into one area for collection Maintenance and storage information Prior to cleaning or any maintenance always ensure the battery pack has been removed from t
